I’ve owned and used many slow cookers/crock pots in my 16 years cooking professionally, but this one is my favorite medium to large one for sure. My favorite feature is the long retractable power cord, but it is also really nice to be able to lock the lid without clunky rubber bands like some models use. It’s solid, but not too heavy and it seems very well engineered. It’s programmable for time and temperature. Controls were intuitive and simple, with several handy presets for different recipes. Had a pronounced burnt metal smell the first use which is to be expected, but my chili turned out great without any weird flavors. I’m excited to have enough space to do a roast again after losing the lid to our old slowcooker. In all honesty, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. I will be using this slow cooker a lot and would definitely recommend to anyone.

I just received the Elite Platinum 6 QT. Programmable Slow Cooker in the mail. I love that it has a retractable power cord underneath the slow cooker so when not in use it you can wind up the cord! The fact that it’s programmable is great! I didn’t know they made programmable slow cookers!

I have owned quite a few crock pots but this is by far my favorite. The insert is lightweight and very easy to clean. The presets really help with cooking instead of guessing what to put the slow cooker on. So far I have fixed chili, chicken noodle soup, and brownie pudding and they all turned out perfectly. The locking lid makes it perfect to take it on the go. I will be using it for all of our family get togethers. I love that it has a retractable cord, it makes things alot easier. I am so impressed and I would highly recommend it.

Great crockpot to take on the road for picnics and family gatherings. The pot is a great size to make a big meal and is easy to remove from the reservoir. My fiancé made her homemade cheddar broccoli soup and we loved that the lid locked, sealing the heat in, so it was faster to cook and easier to carry to the table. The design looks nice, the quality of the exterior is comparable to other brands. The cord is retractable so there’s less mess spread out. Overall, this has been great for all of our crockpot meals, with even surface cooking. It’ll be great to take on the road so I would definitely recommend it.

I have a slow cooker that I’ve had for many years that I love but it’s very beat up & stained. It’s very heavy duty & difficult to clean, hence the staining. When I opened up my Elite Platinum Slow Cooker I was really skeptical because it was just so lightweight. It also took me a little time to warm up to the shape (This one is wider & flatter). But you know what? I used it three times in one week & I quickly realized just how much I loved it. Quite frankly the Elite Platinum is way easier to clean! I don’t have to bother using plastic inserts either because it literally washes up within seconds. Nothing I’ve made yet has stuck to it. The other things I LOVE about this slow cooker is that the cord retracts back into the machine which makes storage a lot easier. Then last but not least because the lid locks, during the holidays when I’m traveling with an already prepared meal, there are no accidental spills. Other pros: The set up was very easy (Heat up water in it for 30 min before you use for the first time) & the electronic display was also easy to navigate & use.

I got the Eleite Platinum 6qt programmable stainless steel slow cooker a week ago. It has 3 temperature settings, high, low and warm. I love the lockable lid, and I think that the retractable plug is awesome. I wish more appliances would come with retractable plugs. It makes things a lot easier.
