The Empire 6″ Stiff 6″ Ruler is loaded with data measurements that are very handy and convenient around my workshop. This stainless steel heavy duty ruler has fractional 116″, 132″ and 164″ graduations on one side. On the back are mm metric and decimal 110th” & 1100th” readings. All data points are solid electrolytical-photo engraved etchings that stand out as durable and easy to read measurements. A large oval opening on one end allows for easy hanging on just about any hardware installation. These past 35 years I’ve owned several “pocket SS rulers” for detailed measurement work, both on the job and in my home projects. The Empire markings do not start at the edges, but still offer a diverse tool that I can easily use in my DIY projects. The quality and versatility of this Empire measurement tool will be a great supplement to all the others!!

First thing to say it is made of very high strength steel and does bend. It is convenient to use in close place and very easy to carry with you. The fact that it can measure 1/16″, 1/32″ and 1/64″. The other advantage for me working with the metric system and the need to measure in mm and cm this ruler becomes very handy. I would recommend this to anyone that works in close places or even a machinist
