I used to do a lot of construction. I do not anymore, due to physical impairment. However, I needed a level for some construction that someone else is doing for me and I am supervising. I like good tools, but trying to keep cost down. I saw the many levels that Home Depot has. Then I saw this one. It is a plastic type material but looked sturdy and very reasonable. I got it and we have used it and it works great! No problems with it, It holds it shape and is rugged. I would most definitely recommend it, unless you just have to have the most expensive, exotic tools made, for status or pride, or whatever. This worked fine for me and I will use it again. I gave it 4 Stars, simply because it might inspire the manufacture to improve it with new innovations.

Am extremely pleased with this leveler. Love the bright yellow. helps to see where I am placing it, getting it aligned etc. I can also use the level to draw straight lines, have no problems doing this, even though the level is made of plastic, by the way which it makes it very light and easy to work with. I would recommend this level for anyone, including the pro craftsman.

I was hoping this would be a little more rugged and be at home in a 5 gallon bucket with my other fencing tools. I decided to return it and spend a couple extra bucks on an aluminum level instead. This level would be perfect for light duty work were it won’t get abused.

My first impression of this level is…It’s plastic. However, the construction seems very sturdy. The literature says it returns to original shape after flexing, which it seems to do, but that makes me wonder about durability. The vials seem very solidly installed using octagon shaped housings so there’s no possibility of movement. I checked it for accuracy and it is dead on. At this price, it is very useful when laying brick, because of it’s accuracy and I don’t worry about using it to nudge or getting mortar on it.

This level replaces my 50 year old 24″ Aluminum level which had one bubble that last its oil.Bright visible yellow with bold black markings for measurement. Scale is marked in 16ths of an inch and 2mm in millimeters. Light weight with hanging holes on both ends.
