Me and my neighbor both have a set of these. Both of our white levels do not work. The bubble acts like it is in frozen liquid and when it moves it was very slow to react. Also had a lot of difficulty keeping the level on the line. They constantly fell off or were launched across the yard if the line was touched.

Home Depot review 7/27/2020 for the Empire 5-5/8 in. Line Levels Set (2-Pack). The hook design is superior to the aluminum line level choice from Home Dept. The hooks are secure enough to hold the level on the cord in most conditions I encountered. Both levels were accurate when compared to two other reference levels of mine (at least one reviewer found their units were defective and it’s worth checking before use).

These are great line levels. They fit various string sizes are both are fairly accurate. They both have pocket clips and the liquid filled tubes are made of plastic so its hard to break.
