great magnets , really nice protective case , easy to use and read , the only thing i dont like about this level, is that i have to re calibrate it more often that i would think i need and the default factory calibration was off to the vial . i do recommended , re calibration is fast and easy .

Empire e105.48H Digital Box LevelThis is a very nice and well made level. A lot more level than I ever used. It has 7 measuring modes and it is IP65-rated for dust/water-proofing. The shock absorbing end caps protect the ends of the level from damage and the caps can be removed if needed. There is a really nice large handle built in (perfect for hanging from a wall hook). The huge dual electronic lighted displays on the side and edge are super convenient and easy to read. The display readout can be inverted for overhead measuring. The level has slope info built in as one of the measurement options, making it nice for setting drainage measurements. There is also a hold button to lock in a measurement if needed. I have used this level a lot in my workshop as a straight edge and recently to hand a door. I found the dual digital display very convenient and easy to read even as daylight faded. Wish I purchased this level years ago. I am finding that this level has become my go to level.I would definatly reccommend this level to other contractors, construction workers and serious DIY’ers.The only thing I have found that I wish Empire did different is the way the battery door is secured. I like that the level takes regular AA alkaline batteries, I just wish the battery door did not take a screw driver to open. I always remove the batteries from a tool that is put away to avoid battery leakage that will ruin an expensive tool. A clip or thumb screw or something like that would be better for me.

Digital level is great – using it to check % grades in exterior locations.One drawback – magnetic patches on bottom of level attracted metal “dust” created during construction (grinding metal). These bits of dust collected into lumps big enough to lift one end of the level enough to give false readings.Unless you really need level to be magnetic, get the “non-magnetic” version.

I used the contractor’s level for years. It took me several minutes to set up. It had some deficiencies that I could not control. The True Blue Digital box eradicated all my issues. Now, press the on button and I’m all set to do the work. This is one of my best tools. I recommend it.

It is necessary that a larger level is needed as small construction of large toys for my wife’s day care continues. This level is vital in making sure that certain products that are built have a level foundation so that they last longer. This levels has a lot of features that I never expected from a level but again it came from Home Depot and they want only the best for there customers. I have this level for about a month and I like everything about it, its style, its length, the features on the level and I was impressed that it meet all expectations.
