Empires Digital Levels are engineered to provide fast and accurate readings in 7 different measuring modes and include large, easy to read dual back-lit displays. For added durability, the True Blue Digital Level is IP65 Rated to protect against dust and water as well as extreme job-site conditions.

It was hard to spend $140 on a level, especially when I already had a 48″ one. But I was leveling a ceiling and it was frustrating being up on a ladder trying to read a bubble at different angles. This has a nice big lighted display that is very easy to read at any angle. I also like that the display auto flips around as I rotate the tool and the arrow indicators that tell me which way gets me level. It has been money well spent.

It is necessary that a larger level is needed as small construction of large toys for my wife’s day care continues. This level is vital in making sure that certain products that are built have a level foundation so that they last longer. This levels has a lot of features that I never expected from a level but again it came from Home Depot and they want only the best for there customers. I have this level for about a month and I like everything about it, its style, its length, the features on the level and I was impressed that it meet all expectations.

While the digital aspect makes me slightly nervous to the longevity of the product, the build quality is great and the IP65 certification gives me a more confidence. This level is great for situations when close enough isn’t good enough. This level is insanely precise and you no longer need to look at it straight on like you do with a bubble level. As long as you can read the numbers, you’re good to go. The big advantage of digital is the built in calculations. While the angle mode is great, I love the mm/m mode. It’s super easy to visualize that you must lift the left side up 5mm to make it level.

Very impressive tool. Information on the package is very explanatory and gives you lots of scoop. Overall, very good looking from a distance and even more so close up. Rubber end bumpers are a good addition especially when setting down quickly, it stays in place. Feels good and balanced when handling. Bubbles are easy on the eye, especially for people of my age. The real advantage is the lighted display with audio and large numeric read-out. The audio is a real plus when you need more hands in tight places. With this, you can hold the tool with your leg, while not being able to actually see a bubble as you adjust the item your want plumb and level and wait for the beep. Overall, a fine addition for the craftsman.
