The e75 box level also equipped with rubber shock-resistant endcaps that are tool-free removable to enhance scribing performance into corners. Magnetic models boast high-strength rare earth magnets for superior holding power when working with door frames, steel studs, ferrous pipe and other common metal-working applications. The em95 UltraView LED Torpedo Level combines the professional features of the Empire True Blue Torpedo Level with the patented, UltraView technology to provide superior vial visibility in dark, low and bright light applications. The patented, UltraView system uses dual LEDS, optical brightener and e-Band vials to provide high definition viewing in all conditions. Its IP54 rating meets the durability demands of the jobsite by protecting it from dust and water.

Empire is very well known for making great levels. I have many levels of various lengths and brands. I love the looks of this level. The vials are easy to read with very good contrast. It is a fairly heavy level and well built. Has shock absorbing end caps that are tool free removable. They work well if you drop it. Accuracy is.0005 per inch,more than I will ever need.

Actually it is excellent compared to what I had. I appreciate the padded ends so I don’t have to be super careful. Only complaint is that when I went to actually buy it, the HD site said the Loveland, CO store didn’t have one in stock, so I ordered. Two days later I see one in the store!

This is a very good level. When using a level, it is a good rule of thumb to make sure you are level and turn the level around and check the other way as well. I was putting up kitchen cabinets and discovered my old 4 foot level needed to be destroyed. This new one should last forever.

The empire 48 inch box level is the perfect example of a medium priced level. Blue in color, easy to read. Built tough but not heavy to hold up. Rubber bumper guards to protect it when it gets dropped. From beginner do it yourselfers to professionals, this is the perfect level.

I have two other 4 foot levels both different brands, and I have to say by far the empire 48 inch true blue is far superior to the other ones. Just picking it up you can feel the difference and the quality. The edges are nicely milled the handles have nice grips on them. The vials are in a solid block of acrylic and are easy to read. It has a hole in it so you can hang it up. The end caps come off too so if you need to mark all the way to a wall you can. All in all a great level!!

My favorite 4′ level and go to. The empire box levels are really nice. Bulky in the good way and not too heavy. Easy to read and nice grips placed in the perfect spot. Can use for just about anything and is recommended for accuracy.

I have owned many levels, and they all have their pros and cons. I own several that are the same size as this one, however this level is not nearly as heavy which makes it easier to use. The price was right and the size and weight are excellent. It is made of high quality materials, the end caps are removable if necessary. The brand is a very reliable brand as well, so I know that if there is a problem, the manufacturer will fix it. I would definitely recommend this level to any contractor or diyer.

Nice lifetime USA made box level. I bought mine online as it wasn’t available in the store. Not sure if hd.com ran out of boxes but they shipped the level as is – not boxed. It arrived without signs of damage but the level vial was off. Plumbs where good. My local Homedepot is great to work with and took it back no problems. Ended up paying a little more to get the magnetic version which had all 3 vials correct. There’s some nice china made levels that I”ve ordered online and had the same issue with vials being out. ***I highly recommend buying levels in store – not shipped – so you can check them out and not waste time ***. The level is solid, little heavier and taller than an “I beam”, but not so much as to be a problem. For me, the light blue vial coloring is easy to pickup looking down from the top for level. When checking level from the side or checking plumb I find the yellow a little easier to see.
