The Empire EM70.10 True Blue heavy-duty torpedo levels features a tough all metal frame to stand up to tough jobsite conditions. High strength rare earth magnets deliver a strong hold to metal materials. The em70.10 also features a top ruler and pipe groove that is compatible with any straight edge to extend the working surface for measuring and scribing, while surface grip provides stability against any material. e-Band vials highlight the meniscus of the bubble to prove a clear reading at plumb and 45° and level. I used this level to hang some cabinet doors after installing new hinges and like that it has a solid feel and the aluminum casing runs the entire length of all sides. My wife has a different torpedo level and about an inch on either end is plastic and drops off, so marking a level line is more difficult. The blue liquid in this level makes a better contrast for visualizing the bubble, compared to yellow fill. This particular size easily fits in my tool bag and help make attractive picture hanging a snap.

I used this level to check my forms for a cement pad,, it worked great. The level is llightweight. It is simple to use. I checked the level against some metal surfaces and the magnets held perfectly. This level will be getting a lot of use building a carport for my church. I am very pleased with the level sights as they are easy to see and read. I really like this level. It is the perfect not too small and not too big torpedo level. I used it this summer building a clubhouse and the 10″ length was perfect in the smaller areas. I like that it is very solid and durable not to mention accurate. I have had to no issues with using it whatsoever. The magnetic edge really makes a difference that I will only purchase them from now on.
