I really like the flexibility of the removable ends. This allows for consistent marking when scribing from one object to another. An example is installing spindles. It made it easier to set floor Marlins from the rail.

This level is invaluable for large jobs. I’m installing four 92″ tall doors on tracks. The tracks must be level for the doors to slide properly. This level tells me instantly if the ceiling is out of level. I also like the rubber end caps; they keep the level from falling over when propped against a wall. The level is durable, easy to read, and built strong. Home Depot’s price beats the competition as well.

Bought the level, for hanging 4 by 8 plywood sheets, in an equipment room, for panel mounting. I noticed after it had a second set of level lines. The level lines, are for 1/4″ per foot off level/pitch. This will come in handy when i have to do concrete work later. Always been a fan of Empire tools.
