The ENS500EXT is a great device for those who would rather spend time getting their bridge to work instead of surfing or getting online with any consistency… I have enjoyed many hours of messing with this thing and am happy just to share the joy… IE good luck getting the time to accept a change

This is an excellent access point for the back yard. Coverage is wonderful. I had an issue with an older phone not connecting, but then I figured out that the older phone only worked on the 2.4Ghz band. Other than that, all of my phones and computers connect and have the speed that I have indoors. I recommend using CAT6 cable to connect this to your network as there was a VERY slight decrease in speed when using CAT5. Also, before connecting it to your network, make sure the router you connect it to is not on 192.168.0.1 as this is the same IP as the ENS500EXT. I had to change the router IP, connect the ENS500EXT, change the IP on the ENS500EXT, then change my router back to 192.168.0.1. The only downfall I have found for the ENS500EXT is that you can’t limit the range of IPs handed out by DHCP. That would be a nice software addition so that I could limit my indoor devices to one range of the IP spectrum and outdoor devices to another (ie: indoor 192.168.02.2-128 and outdoor 192.168.0.129-256) With this being sugc a minor issue I will still give the product 5 stars
