The Neutron Series 740W 48-Port Gigabit PoE+ Wireless Management Switch from EnGenius is a Neutron Series full power 48-port Gigabit switch with four SFP ports for fiber uplinks and can supply up to 30W per port for a total PoE budget of 740W. Through its browser based interface, it can manage and monitor up to 50 Neutron Series Access Points.
Once a Neutron Series Access Point has been connected to a Neutron Series switch, it immediately becomes discoverable on the network through the switch’s wireless management GUI (Graphical User Interface). The IT manager or network administrator then has the option to include that AP in the network and configure it accordingly.
