Height is not adjustable so most wine bottles are 2-3 inches above the platform. The corkscrew works so-so relative to hand held cork screws similar to this gripping the neck of the bottle. It takes up a considerable amount of table space due to how the handle rotates. Good solid platform. Not the quality I was expecting for the price.
