This is a very good printer and fast. Having a problem setting up the Fax feature, but all in all, I am pleased with this purchase.

I print a very limited number of copies, and it stops and states its out of black ink much more often than my last printer. It may be that these ink cartridges are very small, but they do cost as much as the larger ones my old machine had.

I recently and reluctantly retired my old but faithful Epson NX127. After realizing that my many years of dedicated use, I needed to research a replacement. I have been very fortunate to have use of four printers in my work office. My favorite by far as another Epson product in a similar series. The price of that model is a bit out of my range but after much research and comparing of features I discovered that the Epson Work Force 2860 was exactly what I needed. What I considered to be major pluses in this model was one, the size. It is roughly the same outer dimensions as my old NX 127 but twice the height. This is what made using this model so appealing. It only needs a small space yet functions as a much larger unit of considerable size and muli- functionality. Each area of this model has been designed for easy and efficient use. The single load tray with its ability to accommodate multiple paper is great. Loading was easy. The use of either the feed or LCD screen was also easy. One really great feature of this unit was the fact that it never assumes your print choice. I am always given the option of single or double sided use unlike its larger counter-part. The print quality far exceeded my expectations. Although I was unable to receive a test print page, every copy printed perfectly. In past experience, the cost of replacement ink was a major downside to using other printers. I found that the cost and quality of using authentic Epson ink was well worth the small investment. I do however have a few concerns or suggestions regarding the use and functionality of this model. The most difficult and frustrating experience has been syncing this unit with my laptop. I tried using the disc as well as following the other directions. I tried several times to (after carefully reading the directions- since I am a try-it-first then take time to read the directions, if not successful kind of person) get them to recognize one another. Another concern is the size of the display. I found that using a stylus is very helpful. I must have programmed the setting 20 times before being successful because my fingers were use to a bit more space to work with as on other models. Despite those somewhat minor hiccups in becoming familiar with this model., I definitely would choose to purchase and use this unit. As I said, I have four printers and this one makes number five to choose from. It is now my favorite and the other Epson Work Force a very close second. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Really hard to get set up for Wi-Fi printing

Great for home use. The low ink warning appears too soon (even though the cartridge still have ink solution inside) If you have the auto replenishment option active. Other than that the printer outperforms itself.

Has many features for the price but it is very difficult to get it to connect and print. This is one of the most frustrating printers I’ve ever worked with.
Verdie Lebsack (verified owner) –
Very pleased with the printer. Clear sharp printing and very fast. Printer ink is somewhat expensive though.
Pauline Rath (verified owner) –
This is a decent printer. I’ve had some issues with it, like it disconnects from the network after some disuse and I have to restart it. It also takes a long time for the print job to get to the printer. Otherwise, no surprises, but no wows, either.

So far so good

I have always had Epson printers, so I bought this one. I am disappointed because it is so loud. The ink cartridges didn’t seem to last very long and were very expensive to replace. Otherwise, the printer works fine.

I am not to savvy at computers but this was really easy and fast.

I have owned several totally awesome Epson printers so that makes my disappointment with this one worse. The paper feeder jams frequently. The scanner document feeder only does the first page correctly. I tried to scan just 2-3 pages through the feeder many times but only the first page would come out right. The rest had various flaws like lines or missing characters. Totally bizarre. I am returning it. Not sure yet if I will change brands or not. For me this was a really bad printer experience. Especially since I use it daily.

The printer is excellent. Easy to use, great functionality re: print, scan, fax with all devices (laptop, iPads, etc). Easy maintenance via Epson online tech support.

The first one I received from an online order, as we were stay-at-home,-the ink cartilages for Blue and Red did not work. The online tech and returns customer service people were AMAZING. I got a new one shipped to me right way and it works perfect!!
