An ideal product for a home or home office, this WorkForce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer from Epson combines a printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier in one machine. Utilizing four Claria Ink cartridges, the WF-2860 can print at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi on pages as large as 8.5 x 47.2″. Borderless printing is also possible at 8.5 x 11″. Print speeds reach 14 ppm and 7.5 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Mobile printing is possible with NFC, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Mopria and other wireless printing solutions.

From the first day that I bought the unit it started printing a vertical line on the pages. Tried the cleaning but no luck. Turned off unit and still no luck. After several uses for some unknown reason it stopped doing it. Do not expect it to last too long.

I am not an IT idiot, I have connected many all-in-one printers with no problems. The scanner drivers won’t load completely and there is some firmware update that I isn’t where the screen says it will be. I really needed this to work so I spent about twice as much as I usually would. NOT HAPPY.

Setup instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Basic setup is done right on the 2.4″ color touch screen. After I setup the wireless network I was able to complete the advance configurations using the Epson iPrint app. After that, I just had to install the ink cartridges and run the ink calibration which takes 5 minutes. The whole setup process took less than 20 minutes. I was able to wireless print from my Surface pro, MAC, IPad and iPhone with no issues. I also was able to scan a document to my MAC very easily. The iPrint app is very useful. It displays printer status, ink status, maintenance section which is where you can check for firmware updates and advanced settings. The only con I can find is it is a bit noisy when it prints but no louder than any other inkjet printer. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This printer frustrates me every time I try to print it has installed numerous software files and the only utility that shows up is scan. the only fix for this machine is a big hammer it is not even worth recycling.

I am a realtor, small fence business owner, and now a home school teacher. The product is great copier, great printer, and a complicated scanner. I have not setup the fax feature as I have not needed it yet. The only draw back so far is that it will not print is one of the four ink cartridges is empty. It will not let me choose “black only” or “processed black only” to bypass the empty cartridge and keep functioning. I would recommend it for personal use, however for even small business I should have waited another month or two and saved for the laser version.

from day 1 the included inks showed nearly empty, but the machine never would print anything in the correct color anyways. bought new ink after only a handful of (wrong colored) prints to see if that fixed the issue. It “couldn’t recognize” the black catridge, and refuses to do ANYTHING at all until it senses all 4 catridges. thought maybe the ink was bad so i got another set of brand new inks. same issue, cant recognize the 2nd new black cartridge, and until it has all 4 inks operating, this printer is just a paperweight.
