An ideal product for a home or home office, this WorkForce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer from Epson combines a printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier in one machine. Utilizing four Claria Ink cartridges, the WF-2860 can print at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi on pages as large as 8.5 x 47.2″. Borderless printing is also possible at 8.5 x 11″. Print speeds reach 14 ppm and 7.5 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Mobile printing is possible with NFC, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Mopria and other wireless printing solutions.

We just finished setting up the printer so we haven’t tested the document feeder or two-sided printing yet. Everything went as expected until it came time to load the ink. This should NOT be a two person job but the scanning section of the printer does not remain upright while installing the cartridges so another person is required to hold it upright. Otherwise, it’s great. The photocopying is good and you cant tellthe copy from the original.

My printer was great out of the box but quickly ran out of ink – faster than the 10 yr old printer it had replaced. Two tries of replacing the ink and the documents are barely legible and I’m wasting valuable paper testing it after running several maintenance tasks.

I am happy with the printer. However, The feed won’t grab the paper in the top tray, keeps telling me to remove paper jam, but there is not one. None that is visible anyway. Could this be a problem with the paper tray? I have also reinstalled the software. I love the 100 sheet paper tray, and the crisp clear output.

The Scanner feature is CRAP. It only works intermittently. There is no rhyme or reason to why/when/what makes it work. constantly claiming it is not connected to the network yet the printing works via wi-fi just fine. So, yes it IS connected to the network you piece of CRAP.

Straight out of the box, setting up the Epson Workforce WF-2860 was fast and easy. Step by step instructions are clear and simple. Plug it in, pull off all the tape, put in the ink, connect to WiFi, run firmware updates, and then it was ready to go with all the basic functions – no more than 10 minutes. It has a small, compact footprint so it doesn’t take up a lot of space, which makes it great for a small home office. Print quality is top notch in black and white, as well as color. Copying reproduces colors faithfully. Scanning is fast, and accurate. The FAX function is appreciated, but not something I use regularly. Printing from Android, or remotely via cloud or email address is a great feature, and makes it easy to print your shared/collaborative documents, or even make physical copies of your photos. The document feeder on the top makes it easy to do batch copies or scans. Ink cartridges are on par for price with other Epson products, which makes it relatively economical for personal use, but the ink capacity per cartridge seems a bit on the low side for business purposes – especially if you do a lot of color printing/copying. The touch screen is small and while easy to use, the layout of the menus makes it easy to accidentally press the wrong buttons, but once it is setup most functions don’t require any interaction with it. It doesn’t come with a USB cable, if you want to connect directly to your computer. Print speed seems a little on the slow side compared to my previous printer, but it is still more than acceptable. Overall, the Epson Workforce WF-2860 is a great little all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. Easy to setup and then it just works when you need it to. The handy help button next to the touch screen on the front panel makes it easy to figure out any issues that you may run into. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Bought it several months ago and just installed it. Very easy set up and running great. So glad sales person recommended I buy replacement ink catridges, the ones supplied lasted about 2 weeks, hope the replacements last longer. Previously had Epson Laser printer and was extremely happy with it, but was old and needed replacement.
