An ideal product for a home or home office, this WorkForce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer from Epson combines a printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier in one machine. Utilizing four Claria Ink cartridges, the WF-2860 can print at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi on pages as large as 8.5 x 47.2″. Borderless printing is also possible at 8.5 x 11″. Print speeds reach 14 ppm and 7.5 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Mobile printing is possible with NFC, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Mopria and other wireless printing solutions.

This printer goes through ink fst. and you have to buy the whole crtridge not individial fo the empty ink. if I printed out 25 pages (and I am aproximating really less) the ink runs out.

I’ve had this one for maybe a year or more. It works fine, and ink is easy to replace. The default printing density uses a lot more ink than necessary, and some print jobs don’t allow density adjustment. When I bought this printer, I mistakenly thought it could copy both sides like my previous WF-645 did, but it’s only capable of PRINTING 2-sided; it will not COPY 2-sided. Disappointing. Epson makes the best copiers IMO, and Customer Service is second to none.

The printer printed nicely, but the scanner placed a black line at the top of anything I scanned. I had to return the printer and I hope the replacement doesn’t do the same. If the replacement does the same, I will NOT order another Epson.

The print quality is good. I replaced the exact model that was less than a year ago (shame on me for loosing the receipt). I had just loaded new XL ink cartridges into the old printer so they were perfect. When the new printer arrived I wanted to use my existing Epson cartridges and save the ones that came with it. NO! Even though they are Epson ink cartridges the new printer insisted on installing the ones that came with it. I taped off my other cartridges and hope they will last until I need them again. Then I loaded about 150 sheets of paper and after going through all the setup, which is easy it continued to say I needed to load paper. After about 12 tries it finally grabbed paper. And yes, I did go through all the trouble shooting steps it recommended. What I realized was that the bar that adjusts to grab paper was stuck. It finally moved and everything has been fine since.

So far, this printer is working well and has done everything I have needed. I have only printed from my email. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because i could not figure out how to set it up for remote printing. It works fine by using the cord, but I need to return to the store to see if they can assist me.

Not only is it too noisy when it prints, it’s extremely slow. Once it prints the quality is good. I like that it is compact, however the display is difficult to work with since it’s not flush but it sits inward some causing the rim to interfere when pressing the panel.

I initially owned the NX430 but it only had a flatbed and I have a project that I needed an auto document feeder for. I bought the WF2760 and it lasted about a year and I was constantly getting an 0x4D error. This is a firmware error and more expensive to fix than to buy a new printer. I bought the WF2860 and from the beginning the auto document feeder jams time after time after time. My cheap NX430 works better.

I bought this new Epson Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax several weeks ago. It is WiFI enabled and took me two hours for it to pick up the signal. The modem is about 8′ away. Also later, when I tried to print from the computer it automatically had switched to Fax and I had trouble changing it. Also tried to print from my online banking account and it only printed the heading and not the information that I was trying to print. I have only ever bought Epson printers from 1998 and would like to continue. This is the first time I’ve ever had any issues with your product.

The printer does not communicate very well with my computer and has to be reloaded several times a week. When it does recognize the print command, it does a good job. It gets frustrating having to wait to do my business when I have to load the printer into the computer so often.

The scanner was hard to set up, and it took me around two hours to get it set up. I have not had to do any extra set up on other printers. I don’t know about how the printer/scanner is going to work because I just bought it.

I print wireless and do not get 14 ppm! More like 1 page at 5 minutes! Must use the Epson overpriced ink cartridges and they go fast!

Should be able to install disc and that’s it. All the information and other stuff is a waste of consumer’s time. Your main concern should be ease of installation like it was years ago.

Having just spend the best part of 6 hours trying to install an HP wireless printer, I gave up and took it back for this replacement. A breeze to install! Happy with it and wish I had started here! Not too noisey, quick and good print quality.
