Epson have been part of my life, as long as I can remember, and even now heavily rely on their high-quality products for work. With the previous use of Epson printers, primarily professionally, I was excited to receive the WorkForce WF-2860 all-in-one for personal use. Equipped with printer, copier, scanner, and fax capabilities… it’s hard to saw this machine won’t get enough use. Fairly quick and easy setup and super convenient with the Wifi feature. Sleek and compact design. Printing is on the slower side and no direct usb cable, but other than that, can’t say I’m any less impressed with what you’d expect from an Epson product. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

The Epson WF-2860 was very easy to setup and begin printing. The unit is smaller than the older Epson unit it replaced. Setup was a breeze. Initial setup was on a PC and was able to set it up via a wired network. Never needed to plug into USB. All software downloaded and installed without issue and it updated the printer right off the bat. Being on a strict work network, I was happy it was found and went through so easy. I then added the printer to my MacBook Pro and that went just as easy. I was able to print and scan over the network in very little time. Print quality is excellent. I have always liked Epson’s quality. Prints are fast as well. Scanning quality is great via the ADF or the flatbed. The unit goes to “sleep” and a little glowing ring is all that is on. Once it gets a job, it wakes up and prints then it goes back to sleep. Printing from an iPad was easy as well. Overall, the quality of this printer is on par with every Epson printer I have owned. I typically used it for quick color proofs before I send the final job to my Epson Pro 9890. I have had to call 3 times to set up WIFI network due to driver issues. If I have to attempt a 4th time I will have to return.

I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for.” It’s my first “wireless” printer, so I was a little leery of the installation, and there were a few details that weren’t mentioned, but I got it done. The operating panel is far too small & I really don’t like the fact that operating steps have to be found online. While more than half of Americans have computer capability at home, it’s arrogant presumption to think that everyone does. But other companies do the same thing to their customers. One questionable fact is that the color printing is very pale. I’ve never had this problem with previous machines over the past 20 years.

I finally decided on Epson Printer, but how did I get there. I worked with Epson Printer at my Son-Law’s house. My printer failed, so now research on for what model. I picked WorkForce WF-2860 This printer is for residential use, that’s me. PS Good To Go

Over the past 11 years I have used an Epson WorkForce 630 for a variety of functions in support of my wife’s Arts and Crafts business. It has performed well, but is beginning to have some operational issues, so I replaced it with a new WF-2860 having the same (and improved) features. I’m happy with the new printer so far, and I’m glad I’ll have it as I start the tax worksheets and forms that will be required before April 15. I was so please with the features that I bought a second WF-2860 for my wife’s end of her business, and I cross connected our computers’ access to each for redundancy in case I run out of ink, etc. at a critical time for printing. They are both “work horses.”

My paper jams frequently because it get caught on a piece of plastic that helps it roll out. The seems the ink runs out after 100 pages of use.

I just finished setting up my new Epson. It was, thankfully, very easy to do. It is important to me, at this stage in my life, to be able to use all of the features, change settings, etc. without too much trouble. The print quality seems acceptable so far, although I haven’t done too much printing yet. I may add another review after using it for awhile, but I feel confident that I will be happy with this printer for this price.

I read reviews on how some felt it was difficult to setup this printer. I have to say if anyone has setup other printers before, this has to be the easiest I have ever done. Was so easy and quick, I was totally surprised. Haven’t printed except for the alignment first print. Color is really good. Anxious to try something on my own. Great so far!!

Brought to replace an old printer. Very easy to set up, no problems so far, now to put her through her paces!

I loved how easy this printer was to set up, I am coming off of a Brother printer that was a nightmare to set up, which is why I bought the Epson. This was so easy, step by step for someone who is a little computer savvy… I would totally recommend this printer so far to anyone!!!!
