An ideal product for a home or home office, this WorkForce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer from Epson combines a printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier in one machine. Utilizing four Claria Ink cartridges, the WF-2860 can print at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi on pages as large as 8.5 x 47.2″. Borderless printing is also possible at 8.5 x 11″. Print speeds reach 14 ppm and 7.5 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Mobile printing is possible with NFC, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Mopria and other wireless printing solutions.

I brought this printer about two months ago. I have printed roughly a thousand pages of mixed media. It has lived up to my expectations. Epson provides an excellent mix of value added features suitable for business and consumer use.

The ad and sales person claimed that the cartridges that came in the box were full capacity, standard yield. The same as any regular size replacement cartridge. However, my three color cartridges are empty and the black is nearly gone and all I have printed is a few alignment pages and 2 printer test pages. I find this very disappointing as I had just spent $80.00 on 252s for my previous printer, an Epson 4xxx (can’t remember exact numbers just the cartridge designations) with 3 paper feeds, ADF, and automatic duplex printing, and now I can’t use them. I wish they would work on this one. The point is that after all this spending I have to spend another $80.00 to by new color and black cartridges. Considering they lasted 2 months in my previous printer I would say I got shorted, some what. So don’t believe everything you read or hear and plan ahead by buying an extra set of ink cartridges to be safe. The printer does a good job and prints beautifully. That is the only reason I give it a positive review.
