An ideal product for a home or home office, this WorkForce WF-2860 All-In-One Printer from Epson combines a printer, fax machine, scanner, and copier in one machine. Utilizing four Claria Ink cartridges, the WF-2860 can print at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi on pages as large as 8.5 x 47.2″. Borderless printing is also possible at 8.5 x 11″. Print speeds reach 14 ppm and 7.5 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Mobile printing is possible with NFC, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Android, Mopria and other wireless printing solutions.

The most difficult viewing window I have ever seen (or not been able to see) in my lifetime of working with computer products. As a senior citizen, I find that hard to see, small things make it very difficult to set up and operate a computer or printer or other accessory. It would be nice if some of the folks in design would consider that we old timers use these things too.

This is a cheap printer. When I set it up, some of the nozzles were clogged. I was told it had to be taken apart and cleaned. Way too expensive. I put 2 drops of alcohol in each nozzle where the cartridge fits in and waited a couple of minutes. I then ran the clean nozzle test and it’s worked perfectly ever since as far as printing is concerned. It does a really nice job as far as print quality is concerned. It’s connected wirelessly and I’m having problems every week connecting. Never had a problem with the HP this replaced. Ink cartridges’ by Epson for this machine at least are very expensive. Inexpensive machine, very expensive cartridges’, and excellent print quality. Poor connectivity issues. For light home use it’s good. Would I purchase again? No.

I have had this printer for about four months. I’ve made about 40 print-outs with them. All black and white. All with the least amount of ink possibly used. It’s now rendering errors for the ink cartridge being low. It’s finnicky about connecting to my computer (I use a hardwire USB rather than bluetooth). It takes ages(5-10 minutes) to load up when I’m ready to print something. Many times it obstructs formatting so titles or footers are blocked out and not printer. If you try to print 2 pages per sheet, it will completely mess it up. That function is useless. The scanner is alright, but this printer is horribly dysfunctional and egregiously overpriced for the value. I wish so much that I could return it, but I’ll probably end up pawning it off to someone else for mega cheap on craigslist because B&H knows that people will probably lapse beyond the return window before you realize how awful this printer is. I hate this. I hate it. It makes me furious, this printer.
