This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 printer for basic at home printing/scanning/copying. It features a very compact size but it has a lot of power in this neat little package. It fits well on the small table that I use and paired extremely easy with my laptop. It is easy to move because it is very lightweight. The touch screen is a nice feature. Set up was an incredibly easy job, from box to wirelessly printing from my cell phone and from my table took 20 minutes at most. The install and setup were easy following simple instructions that worked like a charm. This is probably the best feature because I am an older female user. I was quite impressed and I will say that overall, this is a very good printer and one that I would highly recommend for any user, but especially an older user such as myself. Scanning quality is great when printing on either the flat screen or the ADF. I am impressed with how quietly and easily the unit goes to “sleep” leaving only a little glowing light. It is just as easily wakened when it gets a job and prints then it goes back to sleep. This is a review for the Epson Workforce WF-2860 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The speed at which it prints is more than adequate for any home or small office use. I am more than pleased with both the quality and the speed of the printer. I believe it to be a great value for the suggested retail price.

Printer works great, however, the ADF does nothing but jam.

I brought it home, I read the install material, had to get accustomed to interface, but that done, it worked – wireless connection. Happy with the print. Happy with the machine. Have to reinstall, getting new modem. We’ll have to see how that goes. Wish I could find a phone number for support if all else fails.

I bought this printer over a year ago had a problem setting it up but finally I figure it out. So far it is working fine.

Bought this printer 2 days ago, so glad I did – set up was super easy, print quality is good even for photos and does not take up to much desk space. Luv it!

glad to have this low cost printer. excellent quality.

Two problems: 1) the paper is in a separate drawer so if you want to print up a single check, say, you have to go through several steps to put the check in the tray. 2) Changing the ink cartridges is not on the computer but on the display screen. Confusing

I like my new printer better than the last one. It is a touch screen and it is user friendly.

I bought this in March 2021, and have had nothing but confusion and trouble since. I’ve deleted, downloaded, un-installed, re-installed at least three times since then. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Not consistent. Perhaps this operator should not have purchased this complicated printer.

I bought this a few weeks ago. It is very slow compared to the wireless printer I previously had. It is also very loud. Except for that, it is a good printer for the price.

I just installed and set up my Epson WF-2860, and it was very fast and easy. I needed a printer with ethernet connectivity, which is rare now. So many printers are wireless only. Haven’t used it for anything yet, but so far so good.

I switched to Epson from HP three years ago because the HP printers had outgrown the area in my desk for the printer. The first Epson printer was balky — the wireless connection was poor and I had to use a cable to connect. Also, the paper tray was a disaster, impossible to load easily. And changing ink was also a trial, the printer never seemed to recognise the new ink cartridge. Or the cartridges would not move, to permit the change. Loading paper into the new printer is much improved. Although the paper seems to get jammed more frequently than in the old printer. And the feeder has jammed a number of times already, which was also not an issue with the old printer. The wireless connection also does not work satisfactorily, so that I have already had to create a cable connection. I have only changed one ink cartridge to date, which seemed to work OK, so let’s hope that this new printer works better than its predecessor.

I have been trying to scan some paper work essential for my payroll and each time I tried the message says can not find the computer have to install Event Manager software” I have done everything possible I installed and un-installed the software, I removed my firewall, watched videos on youtube I tried wi fi auto connect it just tell me to run the software then start set up I have done that then it tells me connection unsuccessful I have spend endless hours trying to figure this thing out and here Iam 5 days later still trying, when I bought the product I thought I will be getting home connect the device set it up, scan my papers e-mail them and get paid for my work, well pay roll day came and went I didn’t get paid for my work and I’m still trying to figure out what to do other than return this useless product, by the way is not my network because everything else in the home works perfectly with my network is not my computer because I had another printer connected to it and worked fie until it didn’t any more a few days ago that’s why I bought this Epson. I hope this doesn’t to anyone else its really frustrating good bye Epson never again

was easy to install

The instructions for the Set up were easy to follow. The installation Disc walked me through the software installation and everything appears to be working upon initial inspection. The installation allows for Wireless, USB cable, and direct wiring. I may at some point like to use the USB Cable instead of the wireless connection. I will reinstall at that point to get that to work. I hope it will allow both wireless and USB cable installed on the machine without requiring a reinstall of the wireless connection. Sometime the network is down.

The printing is lighter than my previous printer but is OK. I have to press the selection buttons several times before my choice is recognized and I do not have large fingers. Maybe the pad is not sensitive enough or the selection window is too small.
