I am generally happy with this printer and the print results look great. I took away one star because of some issues with setup. My first impression out of the box is that this thing is a beast! Make sure you check the dimensions and have a sturdy, sizable space for it. Also, keep in mind that if you plan to use the rear feed, you’ll need space behind it as well. I know that a printer that prints 13 x 19 must be big, but I think the part that surprised me was its overall bulk. The tradeoff is that it has two paper trays, which is nice. Setting it up, I followed the step by step printed instructions found in the box. They are very clear and to the point, however, the process did now work as described. The CD did not auto launch, so I was forced to decide whether to launch EPWizard or Setup. I chose EPWizard, which seemed to work. I opted for the wifi setup, so after I followed the steps, which was a glorified tutorial on my laptop on how to use the control pane on the printer, the software said it would make the network connection and closed the software window. After waiting patiently, it didn’t do anything so I went back to the cd-rom and launched Setup, which then completed the install. After connecting the printer to wifi, I was prompted with a firmware update. I appreciate that the firmware updates can be done on the control panel of the printer without having to download and use a USB drive. Overall, the setup time was lengthy. Installing the ink cartridges alone includes a 6 minute “charging” period. From the time I opened the box to completion of my first print (a high quality photo print on 8.5 x 11) was probably 40 minutes. Maybe I’m slow, but it seems like it took a long time. The print quality looked great and I was able to easily print from my iPhone (iOS 11) without installing any apps. This is a great printer, this printer will be used in a classroom setting so the ability to print up to 11″ by 17″ is excellent. The printer was very easy to set up and very easy to connect to the wifi network to be able to print wirelessly from iPads and Chromebooks. I also liked how it has two trays for paper, so I can always have regular letter sized paper in one. One thing that I wish this printer had compared to my other Epson printers is the tanks for ink instead of the ink cartridges. Although the ink cartridges are fairly cheap, it seems much more environmentally friendly to use the ink bottles. I bought November of 2020 and man was i amazed. I had an old epson 1400 series and thought the 7210 would be in the same level of performance. No the graphics, speed is much better and cartridges the black is double the size of old 1400 series. There are two paper cassettes for storing different sizes. This printer is worth every dime !

Just finished (I hope) setting up the printer. I found the instructions included in the box to be nearly incomprehensible. I am an older guy, but still, more/more clear instruction would be appreciated. Maybe information on how the buttons and functions on the printer work for set up might be appropriate. The first few sheets printed look good.

My first impression of this printer is that it is huge. I had a little trouble finding where I should put it in my office, Once I found a spot for it I proceeded with the install. The instructions that come with the printer are great and it was very easy to install and get the printer up and running. Once I had everything ready to go I started playing around with all the features on this feature rich printer. My favorite thing about this printer is that I can print large posters with it. The quality is top notch just like your would expect from a $199 printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I bought this last month, I thought it has scanner included, but it does not, also the size is too big, not convenient, I also try to use the old ink I had with previous printer, same type of ink from Epson, but it does not work, unknown why?

I have only just gotten everything connected and ready to print … what I have done so far looks pretty incredible. I haven’t been able to use the wireless feature yet .. seem a password for the WiFi is needed and nobody here can remember it. This is my second Epson printer (the 1st was the WorkForce 1100 which I loved!) I have also had 2 Epson scanners (Current one is the Epson Perfection V750 PRO) I have found Epson products to be very reliable, great quality with features that exceed my expectations Thank you for such great products for reasonable prices!

Having used a multitude of printers ranging from inkjet, to laser. and even solid ink, I can say that this printer is definitely not geared towards the average home to be used for some light text and photo printing. The features far outweigh the cons however and I’ve been very pleased with this product. Out of the box, the printer is large. It weighs almost 40 lbs. and the sizable dimensions can make it challenging to find a suitable location if space is tight. The printer comes with black, yellow, cyan, and magenta ink and the cartridges are small form factor, yet they pack a powerful punch. This printer was my first foray into WiFi-enabled printing and the WF-7210 delivers. After adding the printer to my wireless network, printing from my iPhone was a breeze. I printed a full-color 8.5″x11″ picture on glossy photo paper that featured a shot of Epcot al night with deep blacks, reds, and blues. The page came out crisp and vibrant using stock settings, and printed in just under 30 seconds. In the past. printing photos at home was very costly due to the length of print time and ink consumption, but Epson’s eco friendly approach makes a great argument for changing that. I also experimented with text printing, which was equally impressive. Letters came out looking as if they came directly from the screen and the pages printed in roughly 10 seconds. The Epson Connect setup was somewhat unclear as I found setup to be best accomplished from the printer, not a computer. Once it was hooked up, however, sending documents to the email address was a breeze and could be accomplished from anywhere. I printed, while 45 miles away from home, with ease. Overall, I’ve used many Epson products in the past and I’ll definitely continue to support their products for years to come. The WorkForce WF-7210, with its multifunction use, huge paper capacity, double-sided printing and ability to print large sizes up to 13″x19″ is an excellent value that would be a great addition to a home office or small office if price, features and quality are considered. I have had an Epson stylus Color 3000 for the past 20 years. It could print up to 16 X 22 fed by an almost endless ink supply. the WF7210 does not print that large and was fitted with very small cartridges for being a large format printer. We will see if it also stands the test of time!

I bought this over 2 months ago and have used it to print documents letters envelopes and photographs. It has done well on all these tasks. It is a very large and loud printer. It can not make copies or scan documents. Very slow when printing pictures so I would only recommend the pictures for home personal use not large amounts of photographs.

When opening the box for the WorkForce WF-720 it’s like looking at a beast but one so beautiful. It’s design is sleek and makes you feel as if it’s worth more then what it costs. It’s easy to set up as long as you are good at following directions. This magnificent piece of technology not only prints out pictures very well as if you had just gotten them developed; but the word printing is fast around four to five seconds with each page. Setting up the printing however from your cell phone takes a little patience. You need to add the printer, click on cloud print & enable the Epson printer. From here you will need to approve the device connection on the printer. You will need to make sure that both the printer and the cell phone are on the same wifi connection. Keep in mind that this printer only does the 2.4 ghz wifi connection and will not recognize the 5ghz connection. The reason why I say to be a little patient is because it takes the printer a little bit to print out the pictures from your cell phone through wifi. I have had many printers in the past but none have come close to this one. If you choose the wrong setting to say print off a picture the Epson Workforce will let you know with an error that you have chose the wrong paper but also it will allow you to go ahead and print if you’d like. I got this printer on December 23rd and have tried to find flaws with it but have come up short. This product exceeded my expectations not just on the look but also on the ease of navigating the device itself. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

This machine has the capability of printing up to 12×19, color is excellent. I am a graphic designer who loves to also make hand made cards (just for fun) and I use the capabilities of this printer to print up to 110 lb cover stock, not often available in large format printers. This printer handles the heavy paper as well as the light paper amazingly. You can download ICC profiles and get excellent comps. Love it!

Packing was good, secure and easy to open. The printer was easy to take out the box. The instructions were right on top and easy to access. The instructions were clear, easy to read, and understand. The setup process took about 15 minutes because it takes about 6 minutes to charge the in cartridges once they have been inserted into the printer. To save time on setup I installed the cd to my laptop while the ink cartridges were charging. Overall the setup process was easy to follow, and I did not need any additional assistance. Print time when connected directly to laptop 1-2 minutes to begin the first time after that it was 1-2 seconds. The print times from my iPad and my iPhone were instant. The photos came out looking almost life like and dried quickly, I didn’t have to wait to pick them up once they came out the printer. The cons to this printer is it’s extremely big so you would need plenty of space to put it. I also didn’t like the option to not be able to scan, copy, or fax. In a business setting those options are essential. So, you would have to purchase an additional printer for that. I previously owned a WF-7110 and was very happy until I started getting 0x97 codes and could no longer print. The new WF-7210 is almost identical to the 7110 in form and function. It was very easy to unpack and setup for wireless use. The new driver software installed easily on my Windows 10 system in just a few minutes. Great looking pages and can print both sides automatically.
