I am in love with my Epson Workforce WF-7210 wide format all in one printer! The box arrived and it was huge. I was extremely excited that I got it in the mail. I was thankful that they had me sign for it and they weren’t going to leave it outside for someone to grab. Once I got my box, I opened it right away, it was very well packaged! The printer itself was bigger than I thought it would be. It was so slick looking. Once out of the box we got it set up to go, and set up was super easy. I was worried it was going to be hard to get the ink in and got it set up to my laptop but it wasn’t, they make it super easy and the instructions are very easy to follow. Once we got everything set up, ink in and everything was running we started playing around with it to see how it printed and worked. I did a test print and the printing on the page was amazing. I was so impressed with it. It was slick and smooth. It looked very good. I love how it’s wireless so I can use it with my laptop and keep the printer in another room and just push print and it prints it right up for me. So handy. I am in love with the fact that I can print from my phone, that makes it so easy to just click and print! All together we are in love with this printer and we are so happy to have it in our house. I think we’re so in love with it because we have never had a printer and we would always barrow one from friends and have to hook it up by cords and then sent it back or we would have to go the library to use the printers and now we have this amazing one in my house that is all ours that does everything we want and it’s so slick and smooth and we can just print anything and everything! Couldn’t be happier with our Epson Workforce WF-7210 Wide format All in one! I got this printer as a upgrade from my eco tank 2760 & I love it. With the wide format I can do a lot more now. I ordered it after 4:00 a Thursday morning & received it Friday afternoon all the way in the Virgin Islands.

This is my second one now. The first one I use sublimation Ink for printing on mugs and other things. The other one is regular ink. It does a fantastic job and has 2 trays which can hold different sizes rather than switching paper all the time. Another reason for buying this printer is I purchased refillable ink cartridges along with the proper ink for each printer. Also you can use a wide range of different size paper or transfer paper. You can even purchase rolls of paper if that is an option you would like. It DOES NOT have a scanner.

The Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format is marketed as a versatile wide format printer with print-shop-quality graphics and borderless prints up to 13″ by 19″. Please note that some websites have this listed as an all-in-one printer. THIS IS NOT AN ALL-IN-ONE. But is it a fully capable wide format printer. Upon unboxing, the packaging seems to be sturdy. I’d prefer a right-angle power cord to go behind furniture, but the standard plug works fine. All in all, set up took about 45 minutes with a firmware update. The printer is delivered with starter cartridges, which although an industry-standard practice, is a practice I wish would go away. The specs on some websites do not clarify this, so don’t expect to get a full life from the provided starter ink cartridges. On the positive side, the refills are easily available to buy. On the negative side, many reviewers of other Epson products have had issues with non-OEM cartridges. I’ve only used the provided cartridges. The LAN and USB ports are on the side of the printer (left side when facing the printer), which is uncommon. That doesn’t matter if you are operating it via wi-fi, but may be a visibility issue if you need to operate via cable. You can also download an app to print from your smartphone or tablet. More details on printing from your phone are available from the Epson FAQ section. I was able to scan and print from my Android phone fairly easily, and it took less than 5 minutes to set it up. The printer comes with two cassette drawers for paper which each hold about 250 pages of 8.5″ by 11″ easily (meeting the stated 500 sheet capacity). Larger paper sizes require the cassette drawer to remain open. There is a rear feed for when you are printing the occasional envelope or odd-sized paper, but be aware that this feed can only take one sheet at a time. Print speed was more than adequate, and seemed faster that my HP all-in-one wide format. This also prints borderless, which means I don’t need to rescale 11″ by 17″ (tabloid) CAD drawings to fit (thereby throwing off the scale). Print quality was excellent. Lines and hatch patterns were crisp on the drawings, and much better than my HP wide format. You will need to have the output tray extended to catch the prints, which can factor into where you place the printer. The output tray is angled up, which is beneficial for catching/holding prints. I’m still not a fan of printing photos at home. So while this feature may be nice for some, I’ll continue to ship prints to the local drug store/big-box store for printing. All in all, I think this printer makes a nice addition to a small/home office that has a need to print tabloid or slightly larger documents. While I have not done a cost-per-page analysis on my Canon color laser vs HP wide format all-in-one vs this Epson wide format printer, I can easily see this becoming my go-to printer just for the quality of the tabloid-sized drawings. The retail price of $199.99 is reasonable for the wide format functionality provided by this printer. Unboxing the printer was very easy it only comes with a Power cord and the ink. The on screen instructions were very easy to follow. However I did notice wen inputting my Wi-Fi password was a bit of a hassle due to having to use the arrow to input the letters and the refresh button to adjust from lower case to upper case. I would also say that it took a few tries to get my tablet to connect to the printer but and a few times it kept showing it to be offline and I had to reset my tablet and re-enter my Wi-Fi password on the print and it will all link back up. Overall this printer is great!! I would definitely recommend to my family/ friends to get this printer if they are in the market for one. The overall quality of the printer & prints are great. Bought the WF-7210 Wide-Format Printer for it’s wide format functionality. I am using the printer to print pictures and text on fabric for a double wedding ring quilt I am making. The print is black and white and the paper/fabric size is 12″ X 12″ blocks. So far I have successfully printed 4 of the 20 pictures I will need and the print quality if very good,

This is my fifth Epson Work Force printer. The max media size, tabloid extra, is very useful. The short printhead life is a pain. They crap out after about a year and it doesn’t matter what you do, the printhead cannot be unclogged. You’ll waste more money in ink for ineffective cleaning than the cost of just buying a new printer. I’ve examined defective heads internally. They contain considerable foreign matter clogging the filters and small passageways. There are places near the nozzles where the ink solidifies, making clogs which will never be removed. Trash the printer and buy a replacement. They are inexpensive enough for this to be a practical solution. Would recommend the printer so long as you are willing to accept what it is and what to expect from it.

Received this printer as a bata test and set it up, so this will be broken up a little bit as to how I used it. Setup, once it was out of the box and plugged in setup was easy follow the on screen and it takes care of its self. Installing the ink for it make sure that you read all the instructions including the back of the page it says not to remove the little plastic over the holes that the ink comes out of did not see that right away and removed one had ink all over my finger from one but once it was put in there was no problem. Installing on my system was quick and easy. Installed on to the print server that we have here also went ready easy with no issue for our tests. Usage, now that it was setup did some test printing with it all in standard page size normal black prints fast and looks as good as our lasers that we already have in the building. Printing in color against the Xerox Phaser 6600N the color looks better and the lines that it printed were better defined. Over all it prints really well. Ink usage, over the last few weeks I have printed lots of things that normally don’t bother with in color and not just to see how it would handle it. With maybe 100 or so prints we have used less then 25% of the color ink and less than 15% of the black so it seems to work really well on not waiting ink. I have always used and been used to printers by another company. When they had severe print head issues with many of their printers and they did not want to fairly settle the issue, I started using Epson. This is the second Epson printer that I have purchased and I really like my WorkForce 7210. Setup was very easy and it has printed without a flaw. I like the wide format printing and the photos are very acceptable and good quality considering the cost and only 4 ink tanks of the 7210. I would recommend to everyone.

I bought this printer to work on a tshirt business. The features were so great, I postponed switching it to a tshirt printer!

It works great. The only drawback is no scanner, but I can always scan to pdf with my phone if the scanner on my smaller printer is not large enough.

Several functions have been up-graded which were problems with the 7110 . The print head seems more stable and the wireless feature is now very good

Appears to be a well-engineered product. Good appearance. The setup guide could be clearer in terms of what position the cartridges have to be in to be correctly inserted into the cartridge holder.
