I bought this printer when our Canon died and the only one I could get was this one. It’s a decent little printer but installation was more complex than the instructions indicated. The control screen is quite small which is a problem for my wife who uses this printer since she’s visually impaired. All in all, it’s a decent enough printer for the price.

After receiving my Epson Expression Premium XP6100 All in One compact Printer .I installed it which was very easy to do, It printed out a test paper after connecting directly to my computer. I than had to align and adjust everything, very easy to do, I than printed coupons ,sometimes it would print fast others it seemed like it took forever, the print quality isn’t what I expected for pictures, (All though it may be my picture, I have seen many pictures printed from an Epson printer and was amazed how beautiful they come printed out) printing flier’s was amazing colorful , if you just need to print letters, coupons documents or fliers it would be perfect. It holds 2 different sizes of paper which is very nice if you print any smaller projects, No waste of having to use bigger size paper. I”m not a fan of only being able to scan to the computer only, to me that takes time away by having to open up the documents than hit print Loading paper into the printer, is also very easy. It has auto shut-off, sleep, Red -Eye fix and many other options The setting has help right there if needed no need to go hunting instruction. Great size for someone who doesn’t have a large area to put a printer. It would be great for a Student. Being wireless it can be connected to Lap-Top iPad, phone Android or computer

Printer received promptly. Was easy to set up. Color photos and prints look very nice and prints quite fast. Still too soon to determine how ink costs and usage play out. Also in the cost of operation is a replaceable ink maintenance tank at $13 a pop!

I’m still learning all of the features, but I’m happy with the connection through wifi.

My hobby, after retiring in 1995, has been woodworking. In particularly using a scroll saw. Even with bifocals the pattern lines have grown a little fuzzy, I thought it was the blade! In scroll sawing you have a master pattern and make copies for each project. The XP-6100’s crisp, clear print has greatly improved my ability to produce quality products.

This is a total piece of C rap. It DOES print okay? But it is built like it is to last maybe 3 days 5 tops. Not sure why anyone would want this. HP printers I bought for this price were solid. This one fee3ls like it is falling apart.

I was able to set the printer up with my desk top with no problem. I haven’t set it up with my laptop yet.

Great photo qualityBy Diane I have gone through a lot of printers in my time. One of the first were Lexmark Printers that I had a five year warranty which unfortunately I had to use at least four times due to how often this broke down. When Lexmark shut down, I switched to Canon Printers, specifically the 3 in 1. When the opportunity came up to test the Epson XP 6100 I was very pleasantly surprised. The set up directions were explicit and easy to follow. Everything went smoothly and I was even able for the first time to print from my phone. This Epson printer even has Hands-free, voice-activated printing which I think is innovative and a great feature for this printer to have. I have been able to print beautiful color photos as well as documents such as fax cover sheets, and resumes, which is extremely important when sending them to prospective employers. I have even had to opportunity to print photos with automatic red eye correction which is a part of the Epson’s auto photo correction. Printing out documents is a fast uncomplicated process that even beginners can understand and follow. We bought the machine awhile ago because other machines of this company were well out fitted for the tasks they were given.

Although I’m not a big fan of All-in-One printers, this printer performs well, is not outrageously expensive, and is sufficient for my document, photo printing and scanning. Printed images are much better quality than a scanned image. The attached image looks great when printed, but the quality deteriorates when scanned.

I have used other printers in the past. But, the XP-6100 is impressive, particularly, its printing capabilities. I printed some very detailed photos at 8.5×11 size and borderless. Perfect color rendition and clarity. As an all-in-one printer, it is great.

I don’t have a computer or paid internet. I use a tablet and a smartphone. My tablet has built in wifi hotspot, so this is how I use the internet. The description of the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 printer said “mobile printing” so I figured I’d be able to use just a tablet or smartphone. I didn’t realize until after I received the printer to test and review that I would not be able to download the software for it. I assume the download is too big for a tablet or smartphone to support it. This is unfortunate and a bit disappointing as I know quite a few people that have tablets and/or smartphones, but not computers. Seems to me that a condensed version could be made for these devices. With that said, and with a little trial and error I managed to figure out how to print directly from the machine itself via the digital readout located on the front of the printer. This digital readout was quite helpful and easy to use even without the software. I’ve printed several pieces in black and white and in color on a variety of paper types including regular printer paper, card stock, photo paper, and printable fabric/iron on paper. All these came out quite well and I am very happy with the results. The two color copies are vibrant and clear. The two black and white copies came out just as great. It was also nice to find out the ink cartridges are a good value for the money. With the exception that the consumer can only use it by printing directly from the printer if they don’t have a computer, this printer is a nice machine. I would recommend this printer for people who have a computer. I purchased this printer about 6 months or so ago and already it is having issues. It indicates that FULL genuine ink cartridges are empty even when they are brand new. I have thrown out several cartridges thinking they were just empty but now, it just says it can’t recognize the cartridges and the display starts to flicker like crazy until I unplug it. I would not recommend this printer to someone who was getting it for free.

I much prefer just snap in ink as opposed to the tank fills. I don’t use a lot of color and they seem to not dry up as fast.

Great printer. If you follow the manual it will be very easy to use all its features.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my home office. It’s great so far. My only advice would be to go to the store to get it. I had such problems with delivery. I ended up returning it and going directly to the store for it myself. Other than that, I love it.

Let me start by first saying the setup on this printer was amazingly simple and easy to do. The instructions were clear and concise and I was finished with setup and printing in no time at all. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well they packaged the printer and how everything was well thought out and organized, down to the ink cartridge caps and storage bags in case you have to transport the printer. My favorite part about this Epson printer is the ease of use. I can flawlessly and seamlessly transition between printing from my laptop and my smartphone. The quality is phenomenal, no matter what I am printing from and the colors just pop off the page. Another feature I really like is the sleep mode. It’s very energy efficient and I can leave it on all the time. It will wake up when I send a print job and go back to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity. Overall, I am impressed with this printer. The quality is much better than other printers I have tried, even with photographs. I have used it to print coupons and the barcodes come out perfect. I have even printed documents for my business and there are no blurry lines and it prints fast which is great, especially when I am in a hurry. I definitely reccomend it, I know I love mine.
