I tried a lot of printers and so far this is my favorite and loving it now. This printer is very easy to set up. I conncted or set up from my smartphone ( Samsung), laptops and even tablet without any hassle and stress. Followed the instructions carefully and done in just one try. The resolution if the printed paper were very awesome, clear and no messy or dirty effects in the paper. It also has a feature of voice activated printing which is awesome feature. The scan and photo features are also very clear and easy to do so. It prints fast so perfect for business and of course personal purposes. The LCD is helpful to navigate and made it more easier to use the printer. Very satisfied with this printer and highly recommended. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I’ve owed a dozen Epson printers over the past 15 years and loved the printing quality. This model’s printing quality is horrible and it used more ink than any other one I have owned.

So far so good, but I just got this printer. It is my first Epson and the family has only done a small amount of printing. So far it prints good and has been reliable for the month I’ve had it.

Steer clear of this. There are too many features and switching between them takes forever. It’s slow and loud. There are updates every time I log into my computer, and I use it with both a laptop and tablet, so I am constantly updating. The most recent update made it no longer recognize third party ink, so the ink cartridges are exorbitantly expensive and don’t last.

This is my second review of this printer. First one was a couple of months after I got it and it was a mediocre rating. Now, a year after purchase I give it a one star. Shame on Epson developers to put out such a substandard unit. It’s total garbage. Early on I used it for color photo printing and it was ok as far as print quality. But the numbers of jams were incredible. The trays are very flimsy and need constant adjustments. Since then I have used it just for regular document printing. It works ok for 2-3 pages then it starts to spit out the print page plus 2 or 3 blank pages at the same time. Then it constantly jams the paper in the tray. Constantly! Waisting so much time and ripped paper. Previous printers have been Epson but after this piece of garbage it will be the last Epson ever. I would stay away from this unit. Mine goes in the recycling bin tomorrow. A total rip off!

The printer is very difficult to use. Hard to switch from copy to print. It does not have a touch screen, which I did not realize. Not happy at all with the product!

Very good printer. Easy to control, except for double-sided printing

The print quality can’t be faulted. I installed as wired on my main PC, but then installed wireless as well, which has confused the PC enormously. This is an upgrade to my previous XP-600, and I’m hoping the ink supply is better and more long lasting.

After using the Epson XP-6100 for a couple of weeks I can say that I was very pleased. Many printers say they offer this and that, but not many really deliver what they say. At first glance the XP-6100 looks very similar to the XP-6000. With that being said I was wondering what internal updates were made in order to make this one stand out. Setup- 5 out of 5 Setup was very easy and I was up and running in no time. If you own or have any of the XP family printers then you will be a pro at setting the XP-6100 up. Print quality- Text 5 out of 5 photo printing 4 out of 5. I ran several tests with B&W and color text along with B&W and color photo printing. Text on pages was very sharp and very rapid printing speeds. I was able to print 10 pages of text both B&W and color in about a minute. As for photo printing things were not a vivid at times, and speeds lacked that of my cannon printer. When printing in high photo quality pictures color would be off and at times had a yellow tint to the colors. Overall I have to say that the XP-6100 is a great intro printer to own. Great to use if you run or work out of your home office. As for using it as your to go printer to print photos i would say that a high more advanced printer would be needed. All in all the XP-6100 is a good printer to own and a great addition to have in your business or home office. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I needed a new printer that could print on DVD/Bluray discs, because I do some minor work for high schools and churches. I had a previous Epson XP-610 that lasted an incredible 8 years before finally biting the dust. For a relatively cheap consumer printer, I consider it lasting 8 years to be phenomenal, so I figured I might as well take the chance on a newer model. The printer does what it advertises. Sure, ink is expensive, but there’s really no way around that (well, there are, but many of those solutions don’t print on DVD/Bluray discs). If this one lasts half as long as my previous Epson, I’ll be very pleased.

Usually when I’m trying to print something, I’m in a hurry and need it right away, sadly this is not a printer for that type of work. Almost every time I use it now, I have to reboot it and fight through a bunch of updates just to get what I need. It’s even worse printing from a phone, many times I have to email it to myself, log onto my computer and then print from there.

Easy to set up and use. I mostly print black and white labels on plain stock and it’s been working fine.

I chose this printer as a replacement for my HP Photosmart which failed after seven years. The reviews promised good results – and it the weight was light enough that we could carry it up our two flights of stairs.I installed this printer about two weeks ago. The hardware was fine and the setup went smoothly. I had some trouble trying to print from the internet until I installed the Epson Connect service. The instructions should have been clearer on that point. Everything is working fine so far.

I love this printer and I’m not just saying that because I received it for free, I honestly I LOVE it!! I was not sure how complicated it would be to set up the printer but I was very impressed with how easy the set-up was. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and installed the software. The process went quickly and I was able to do it wirelessly. You have the option to use a USB if you want. Ink cartridges are easy to install and there are 5 of them. There is cyan, mag, yellow, standard black and photo black. I personally like that each color has its own cartridge as you only have to buy what you need. I also like the two black options as the photo black adds crispness to your photos and the regular black is for documents. There are 2 paper trays one for standard paper and the other for photo paper. It comes with a special CD/DVD tray for printing options as well. There is a SD memory card slot for file sharing or printing from. This printer prints quickly with bright sharp images. You can print double sided documents with ease. If you have an iPhone or an iPad there is the air print option. I like this option as I was in the kitchen printing recipes from my iPad and walked immediately into my office and collected the recipes already printed off of the printer! I began a new project of scanning photos into the computer and with the software it was quick and easy. I was able to scan in 20 photos, label, and upload in minutes. There are two things that I am not I am not too keen on and they are that you have to open the front panels to pull out the output tray to print and you can only scan one photo at a time. The printer is small and compact but has a wide variety of features. It is great for a home printer and probably a small office. I highly recommend this printer. I haven’t had a chance to use the printer much, but it appears to be quality made. I’ve always received my products from B and H in a timely fashion.

This printer is really impressive considering its size. Set up was extremely easy and I was printing within minutes. I also really love the ability to register with cloud printing and being able to scan directly to dropbox – that’s such an awesome feature. I also really like the fact that the screen can be angled so you can put it at just the right angle for use. When finished, you can fold it all up and it’s nice and neat looking. Love it! Print quality is excellent. must say that this printer has so many features that delivers great quality copies, photos, and many more projects. The speed is so fast , that with just a few clicks I have stunning photos and copies. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” and I am thankful I was chosen.

PERFECT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, FIRST COPY. I replaced a good HP and was planning to get Canon. Then SAW REVIEWS WITH SAME FRUSTRATIONS, MAINLY CONTINUAL CLEANING, COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME,. NO BYPASS, ENGINEERS SHOULD BE FIRED ALONG WITH BOSSES WHO ALLOWED. EPSON IS ONE THIRD THE SIZE, SMART, A JOY.
