Ideal for the home or home office, this Expression Premium XP-6100 All-in-One Printer, dubbed a "Small-in-One" by manufacturer Epson, is a slim, powerful printer that also has scan and print functionality. The XP-6100 has a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi and can print at speeds up to 15.8 ppm and 11.3 ppm for black and color prints, respectively. Duplex print speeds are also quick at 5.5 ppm for black and 4.5 ppm for color, and 4 x 6" borderless photos can be printed in as fast as 15 seconds. The printer uses Epson’s Claria Ink system, which combines dye-based and pigment-based inks for exceptional color tones. The unit uses an 8.5 x 11.7" color flatbed scanner to scan photos at up to 9600 x 9600 dpi interpolated. Up to 99 copies can be made at a variety of settings and resolutions at 15 cpm or 8.2 cpm for black and color, respectively. Printer settings and status are displayed via a 2.4" color LCD screen on the front of the device, and wireless printing is available from an iPad, an iPhone, an Android tablet, or a smartphone. In addition to all of these features, the XP-6100 also offers voice-activated printing for an array of jobs, plus built-in USB and memory card slots and PictBridge for direct printing.

I purchased this printer several weeks ago after my existing Canon Printer Model T8220 inkjet developed a false error code for paper jam I could not clear. I finally was able to clear the error and now I have both machines side-by-side. Comparing the two units, the Epson is noticeably faster but the print quality in both color and black & white is slightly better with the Canon. The blues on the Canon are a little deeper – possibly due to a sixth ink cartridge called photo-blue. And the Canon has a touch screen which the smaller Epson screen lacks. Also, the output tray on the Canon advances and retracts under power while the one on the Epson does not. I’ll reserve final judgement until I see the comparative ink costs. – The Canon is very thirsty.

This is the 2nd Epson i purchased. Last one was nearly 10 years old. Easy set up and even compatible with Alexa. I’ve only had it couple weeks so i can’t complain. Print quality is great. I personally would like to have a bigger glass to copy bigger areas.

I had to call Dell to find out how to print an envelope! Setting up on my home network required help too. The instructions that come with this only tells you how to turn it on. You have to jump through a number of hoops to get it to use the correct tray. If I had known how complicated this printer would be I would not have bought it.

I received the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 over a month ago and I’m happy and satisfied with it and its printing quality. So first I wanted to talk about the packaging, professionally wrap. All the parts are well protected mostly the inks. I set it up myself and it’s easy to set up I don’t even have to read all the instructions (though all the instructional materials are provided: booklet and cd included). Though it takes time to set it up for the first time especially when connecting to the internet took me around 10-20 minutes to finish up. But after that you are good to go in wireless printing from your phone, computer and iPad. Once you finished setting up your printer will automatically be connected to another device that share the same Wi-Fi network so you can easily print from your computer, laptop, iPad, or phones. I also have some awesome features like SD card and USB port. I think the great feature of this printer is its size. Very space efficient. Perfect for apartment/ home use such as myself. Really love the size because it doesn’t take too much space. Also, would be a perfect match for students who live in dorms or rooms. My only issue about the printer is the paper catcher/ tray. I always forget to pull it out. And because of that the printer won’t work. Aside from that the printer is really great. The ink seems to be working great and still half full which is really great after a month of use. This would be perfect for home use or home business use. It also prints a really good quality picture. I have attached some pictures of the printing quality. I cant say enough about this little guy. Right out of the box it was a cake walk to setup. I was printing and scanning within 15 minutes of pulling it out of the box. The high quality photos that I printed were outstanding. I have other brand name printers but this printer is better than I have seen when printing photos.

I received this Small in one printer about two months ago. It works great and I would recommend it to anyone needing a new printer. This one is also a scanner, copier and fax machine.It is very compact. The paper outlet tray goes inside the machine and you have to open the top portion on the front of the machine and pull it out before printing. The Epson XP-6100 printer, is a powerful performance vehicle (not a car but stick with me) in a sleek, compact design that has all the tools for photos (borderless 4″ x 6″, 5″ x 7″ and 8″ x 10″), documents and even more, while saving valuable desk space in its compactness. The Epson XP-6100 printer also allows wireless printing (from iPad’s, iPhone’s, tablet’s or smartphones), at home or when you are out. You can also scan documents and save them to the cloud. I’m still experimenting, but the Epson XP-6100 also has a built-in USB and memory card slots, plus a 2.4″ LCD and touch pad so you can preview what you want to print and save valuable ink, as well as edit before you print, so that when you do print your photos you know what you are getting. I have not done this yet, but you can also print directly onto inkjet printable CDs/DVDs for a more personal touch of your CDs/DVDs. I have not done this either, but you can do 2-sided printing to save paper as well. The Epson XP-6100 printer uses a 5 cartridge coloring system designed to use ONLY Epson ink (may not work at all if you use any other ink in your Epson XP-6100, so I would not recommend doing so). A great printer for the price. This was a display printer and no instructions to operate it. It compact and quick printing. No touch screen a little hard getting use to. Great features on paper size and type of print. Voice activated printer not what I was expecting but no two side scanning. I can print from anywhere.

I have been using my Epson printer for a few weeks now and am pleased with the results. The compact size is great, as is the print quality. It was easy to set up and connect to wirelessly. I really enjoy the email capability so that I can print direct to the printer from anywhere. Scanning is easy on this printer. The only thing I would change are the trays and their labeling. The paper tray cannot hold a lot of paper and jams easily. As there are 3 trays so close together, they should be labeled better or color coded.
