This printer is really impressive considering its size. Set up was extremely easy and I was printing within minutes. I also really love the ability to register with cloud printing and being able to scan directly to dropbox – that’s such an awesome feature. I also really like the fact that the screen can be angled so you can put it at just the right angle for use. When finished, you can fold it all up and it’s nice and neat looking. Love it! Print quality is excellent – pictures look great, text is really crisp and clear. All in all a wonderful printer for my needs! This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

I truly love how this printer performs. It is so easy to use. It was very easy to setup. I also like how I was able to connect it to my phone for wireless functions. Colors are truly vibrant. It prints very quickly and efficient. I will definitely recommend it to others. Every single time something needs printed from my Mac, the printer needs to be restarted. All of the firmware is up to date and it is connected via USB instead of WiFi to my 2019 iMac running Mojave. It fails to print every single time. When it does finally print, after restarting the printer, the text is not aligned, even after going through the lengthy built-in calibration process. My previous printer was an HP that I bought in 2007 for college and worked pretty reliably up until now. This Epson is absolute garbage, but it was the only printer in stock anywhere I could find with decent reviews. The only decent thing about it is that, it scans quickly; when it scans at all. Even though the printer is connected via USB, because I connected it to WiFi to update the firmware, it will not scan unless the iMac is on the same WiFi frequency. My home router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The iMac is on 5GHz to maximize speed, but the printer cannot connect to 5GHz. So you either need to switch which WiFi network you’re on every time you scan, or stay on the slower 2.4GHz even though you are not transferring anything whatsoever over WiFi.

An amazing printer that compacts all your needs in one small sized machine. Super sleek and slim that it can fit nicely onto your desktop or shelf without taking over the space. The print quality is superb and super quick. This printer allows you to use several methods to print. Whether you are using the voice activated, USB slots, memory card, or traditional print methods this printer does not fail. My experience with this printer has been phenomenal. I love the size those does not need a whole table to itself. I have printed spreadsheets, signs, letters and photos and they all have been of exceptional quality. I really like that the ink cartridges are separate so that you don’t have to waste them all when one needs replaced. Voice activated print technology is a game changer and I love being able to print from my phone. An great printer with terrific quality. Epson makes the best printers, for sure. But they have a built termination code, called the “excess ink storage” container that pretty much stops your printer dead. Can’t even use it as a scanner. I have had an Artisan 800, then an Artisan 837, both wonderful printers, both died at 5 years use from the same termination code. There are ways to fix some excess ink pads, but not Artisan, and not this one. So I bought it anyway…and I’m glad I did. It is downright portable, about 1/4 the size and weight of my 837, so I can move it to my wife’s computer when she is working on her geneology projects (LOTS of printing) and move it back for my color scanning/printing needs. Great color, even 2-sided printer…not sure how that’s done. I always look for a more reliable printer, but really, if I get 5 years out of it, I’m satisfied. I’ll let you know if that happens.

This well-constructed printer does everything it claims to do, efficiently, swiftly, and at a reasonable price.

I received the Epson Expression Premium XP-100 Small-in-One Printer about a month ago and love it. It is smaller than my last printer, so it doesn’t take up much space, which I appreciate. There are several things I appreciate about this printer. It prints quietly, will print two sided, which I have never had before and love not wasting paper. I can make copies and scan on it so I do not have to go out somewhere to make the copies or scan to fax something, which is a huge time saver. The printer was very easy to set up. The only issue I had was placing the ink in as I was pressing too lightly (afraid I might break them) so my roommate did it for me, as it they need to be snapped in with some pressure. The printer gives you several options on printing sizes so it is not just the normal size as it has a couple different paper holders for the size you want to print, such as envelopes. I have not had any issues with paper jams. I like that it lets you choose if you want to print in color or black and white. This printer is Just Ok. It prints and scans like a printer should and It holds paper like I wanted, but am disappointed that in order to make print I need to extend the receiving tray, I find this annoying. I could leave this open but why would I want to. Oh well.

Works with ubuntu and windows, easy to set up wireless just works out of the box.

I am on my second one, the first one they replaced after hours of negotiating with Epson. The replacement one lasted until the ink ran out. The problem is that the ink cartage will not work regardless of what you do to reset it.
Angeline Hettinger (verified owner) –
I’m very happy with this printer. I really like that it prints much faster than my old printer.
Francisco Koepp (verified owner) –
Really like the speed for copying. Scan works well. I haven’t done any photos yet. The size is great.

Bought this printer about a month ago, for home use (working from home now). Does everything…prints, scans, copies, has air print, prints photos and CDs. And its small compared to most. fits anywhere. Worth spending a little more for a better product! Bought direct, as none of the local stores had any printers in stock due to the pandemic. It shipped within a couple days.
Nico Hill (verified owner) –
I just bought this printer to replace an old Epson printer. This one is nice, it prints fast and there is a quiet feature that we all love. No more noisy printing.

This is a nice small printer for anyone who needs to print infrequently at home. The best part of this printer is it’s small footprint that does not take up a lot of space on your desk or table if you do not have a dedicated office space. The paper tray takes a little getting used to as this printer does not have a traditional tray that holds a set amount of paper – you need to add paper as you want to print. Once you read the instructions and get used it, this isn’t to much of an issue and may even save you some paper/ ink in the long run. The print quality from this printer is great and easily meets/ exceeds any other printer I have had in my home, which is pretty impressive considering it’s small size. I needed a printer to grab photos from a touchscreen photo display. The connection to the USB-A port (Picbridge) worked flawlessly.
