Prints are good. Not sure if they are equal to Canon Pixma Pro 100 but close. Only been using a couple weeks. Big difference in price of ink and Epson uses all of the starter ink to prime the unit. Only got 5 13×19 borderless prints after installing. Is smaller and lighter so, takes up less space. Will update review if new things arise.

If you print numerous times a week, this might be a good printer for you. But if you’re going to print less frequently, don’t waste your money. It is a sea of error messages and it runs out of ink constantly even when you don’t use it. Total frustration.

WARNING: Be aware Epson ships the P700 with partially filled ink cartridges (about 15% full). The last time I purchased a printer, it came with full cartridges. Is this is an industry standard to ship with incomplete cartridges. Considering a set of cartridges is ~$400, I am very disappointed in Epson. I’m sorry I can’t leave a review of the printer at this time. I felt my first obligation was to inform others so they are not as surprised as I was. I’ve lost respect for Epson.

for the money this is the best printer ever i have used many professional print labs and none come close to the quality that this printer does. the ink can get pricey but worth it. the techs at B&H are so helpful and know so much so the few questions i had was answered. i will say this when using this printer you get a much better print if you use the epson papers i tried some others and they were good but the epson papers were out of this world. my only problem was i wish i had gone ahead and got the bigger one but i will get it too.

After more than 12 years, my 13 Epson R2000 decided to retire. Rather than repair it, I opted to replace it with the Epson P700, also 13. The first print out of the gate was excellent. It’s taking me a while to get used to printing via WiFi rather than being plugged into the computer, but I’ll get the hang of it soon. Also, at first I was a little surprised to see that the ink cartridges cost almost twice as much as the cartridges for the R2000. However, they are about twice the size so I’m assuming the cost per print will be comparable. The paper trays seem like they might be a little flimsy compared to my old printer but I doubt that will be a problem for me at all. It’s only been one month but I’m happy so far!

Prints are crisp and clear. I have had other Epson printers that were larger and more expensive. This P700 is every bit as good and with archival inks.

I have to say that I was very surprised by the performance and quality of this printer. I haven’t use it as much yet, but the prints I got from different papers is beautiful. I compared with my old P800 and I can say is slightly better rendering the color tones and sharpness. WiFi connectivity is far superior then the P800, the same goes using the app if you want to do a quick print from your phone or tablet. The only disappointment is the initial ink quantity that comes with the printer. Very limited. The size of the printer is very small for a 13 format. Very happy with the purchase.

I have a tumultuous relationship with printers. For whatever reason, I have a hard time keeping printers connected to my computer/network and have more than my fair share of jams. Neither has been true for this printer. I use it nearly everyday for work and have printed on a variety of materials, from vinyl to cover stock and gloss and everything in between. Haven’t used it’s roll paper function yet, but I’m excited to. Definitely worth the price.

I recently bought the P700 to replace my Epson R2400, which finally kicked the bucket after 16 years !! and thousands upon thousands of excellent prints. I love this new printer! It was easy to set up, prints high resolution very quickly, and the prints are flawless. I especially like the large ink cartridges, the fact that it has 10 colors, that matte and photo black are both installed (no swapping), and that I can connect via wi-fi. Shipped and received very quickly… thanks B&H Photo and Epson!

I have had 13 printers dating back to the 1880 (?). They all produce beautiful prints and they all clog. So far as I can tell Epson offers the printer solely as a medium to sell ink. My last printer was the P600 (the fourth one in two years) and it finally clogged so badly that head cleaning was ineffective. It would have required ANOTHER long trip to the Epson tech and $130 to clean it. It is now in the bottom of the dumpster. Why is it that head cleaning forces gobs of ink through all ten heads even if only one is clogged…typical Epson.

I replaced my aging Epson SC-P800 with this newer P700. Wow! Am I glad I did! Faster print jobs, better gamut, smaller footprint. Everything is better with this newer series!

The Epson SureColor P700 was sent to EPSON after defective and they sent a refurbished one (within 30 days a NEW ONE should have been sent) so today Nov 16, 2021 we shall attempt to install the THIRD P700 PRINTER?? May this be the end of our problems with defective P700 products? If not we shall request that we return to B & H and have you send us the P900 EPSON PRINTER?? We shall contact you if we can not print beautiful color images on the fine Epson Paper ordered from B & H. Fred

I have owned five photo printers, one HP. one Canon and three Epson. I keep coming back to Epson simply because the make the best printers for my needs. The HP was a 24 inch monster but I found that I wasn’t printing that large very often. I downsized to a Canon 17 inch printer, but again it was too large. Now that I have the Epson P700, I am in the Goldilocks zone of Just Right. I knew beforehand that the ink cartridges were simply starter ones with minimal inks but I was able to make some pretty impressive prints which confirmed that the Epson P700 was just what I needed.

Replaced my Epson SureColor P400 with this. Resolution seems the same, color rendition is vibrant and bright but biggest plus is the huge difference in BW printing! Blacks, greys are true and deep with no more color tinging as the P400 which always had color overtones like blues or browns. Setup was easy and quick. Only wish Epson would have allowed the same 50ml cartridges as in the P900 instead of the 25ml cartridges.

Only had the printer a very short time, but I am very happy with the colors in 13×19 prints on epson’s ultra premium lustre paper printed through photoshop and letting the printer manage the color. Easy to set up. It seems to take a little longer to get the data from the computer to the printer than my old P600 did, but not alarmingly so. Knock on wood; I hope time and experience will not reveal any negative quirks; so far, I love it.

Receiver first printer day after it was ordered. set it up. It printed to plain paper without a problem. Would not print on photo paper. Spent time with Epson and told printer was defective. Sent back to B&H and received replacement day after the they received original printer. Set up printer and same problem. Again worked with Epson and could not resolve problem. Returned to B&H for refund and wail until ET8550 is available. BB&H service is outstanding. Epson needs to make theirs along with product better.

Brand new and had to be replaced because it stopped printing. Replacement worked for two months . Printing very few photos and stopped printing. The poor customer service says they don’t offer service!!! So the printer is now to be throw away? The frustration doesn’t even let me think straight!!! What kind of printer is this!??? Are all the printers like this? I lost 800$ on this thing and it has not any support from the company other that a person in the phone wasting your art paper in testing a that never worked! Totally disappointed and upset

First off I also own a Epson HD XP-15000 that I love and get professional results from that printer. I figured with the P700, and for the money, I’d get at least noticeable better prints with this printer, that’s simply not the case with this printer, even though this printer uses 10 cartridges rather then 6 like on my HD -XP15000. My I’m doing something wrong,I use the highest settings, and still get sub bar prints. Also, for some reason I can’t print 4×6, 5×7 or 8×10 boarderless prints with the P700 when I try to use the “maximum quality” setting, don’t understand why, perhaps with that setting I would get better results. Unless there’s a update coming to fix that. Still , I fell like I wasted my money with this printer…sorry Epson..
