Great product and B&H is a great source as far as service and price. Thanks.

i love the look of matte paper with certain types of photos, those that seem to have asoftmess…a mood.

This paper is one of the least expensive photo papers and it does a wonderful job of producing clean good photographs without the cheap looking gloss. My recent use of this paper was to create folders to be put on the table for each guest. These folders were created in photoshop and then bent in half and stuffed with the contents. They looked outstanding. I strongly recommend this paper for photos. They look great on it.

This is Epson’s fine, reliable MEDIUM WEIGHT matte inkjet paper. The wording on the box is so confusing and misleading, I ended up buying the wrong paper. I needed this type of paper, but in HEAVY WEIGHT. Yes, NOW I know… that when Epson says 5-Star, they mean HEAVY WEIGHT. It’s those marketing people in large companies, man, they don’t know * about the products they package!

Nothing special about this paper just an all around good matte that is not expensive. My go to proofing paper.

For years, I have done portfolios using Epson’s Premium Glossy; more recently, I have become disenamoured with the shininess. So, I have tried the Heavyweight Matte. In general, it seems to give a marginally greater range of tone than glossy paper, and is easier on the eye (particularly under the fluorescent lighting of most galleries). For the techies, let me add: the improvement may be because my Epson 3800 printer automatically shifts to use more matte black (K3)ink when matte paper is selected. You might have guessed I am an old Gelatin Silver printer, and the weight of this paper is about half that of Ilford or Kodak silver papers. I mount images back-to-back with an unprinted sheet to get good stiffness for a portfolio print.

I was a little hesitant at first because of the price, and since its only a 4 out of 5 star quailty for epson. Within the first couple prints it was very apparent that I made a wise decision in buying this paper. Results are clear and very accurate. I’ve only needed minor adjustments to compensate from the original image to the final print. BUY THIS PAPER IF YOU PREFER MATTE PAPER… you will not be disappointed.

better than presentation paper, not as nice as ultra premium presentation paper

I print out greetings cards on 7×10 stock. This Epson 11×14 paper is good for cutting down to run test prints. Much cheaper than using the Red River paper that I use for final prints.

This was my first time working with this paper. The quality of the printed image is excellent.

I’m a student and i find this product to be cheap and high quality when doing d-prints. Great choice!

I’ve used matte paper in the past. It’s good, but not great. Best used for test prints, experimenting, etc. It’s not lustre, but does a pretty decent job. I’d use lustre, though, to print my portfolio.

Very quick drying, great finish and weight. This matte finish paper has the eye quality of glossy with a nice matte finish.

We have an old time portrait studio… We transitioned our studio to matte paper for our customers, couldn’t be happier with the results. beautiful results!

It’s heavy weight and the colors didn’t fade out after years. I use it for professional printing and I’m very satisfied with the great quality.

GOOD ITEM

The paper is one sided, so if you don’t have a keen eye or good lighting you can print on the wrong side of the paper. However, it’s perfect for my art prints and performs incredibly well with my artistan 1430 printer. The colors are vibrant, it’s relatively thick similar to cardstock. i couldn’t ask for more out of either the printer or paper. Border less prints come out good with rather minimal loss. With 11×14 being a common picture frame size it makes things better for the customer as well.

I needed a matte finish photo paper to print old black and white family pictures. This paper performed flawlessly. I was pleased with the tone and finish, very close to the 67 year old original. The size 8 x 10 was difficult to find, but B&H photo came through again. …
