Using a smooth high gloss finish, this paper will help you bring out the best in your photographs. The resin-coated base is also easily handled with a basis weight of 252 gsm, or 68 lb, and a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, the smudge- and water-resistant media features a rated opacity of 97% and a brightness of 92%.

The prints come out AMAZING! My portfolio prints really popped! The paper is easy to use (no confusion about which way to load here!) The price is a little steep for students to purchase or there could be more sheets per package. If you need to make a print portfolio, you would need to buy 2 packs.

I have been using this Epson paper with my Epson printer and Epson ink for years to print my photos for display and competition. I find this paper/ink combination to hold up very well in maintaining the colors from fading for many years. I have prints from digital images as well as scanned slides from my Epson scanner. This paper is excellent and at a reasonable price. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because It could be a bit better if it were an “ULTRA” version, i.e., thicker than just “premium”, 0.0118 inch (11.8 mil) versus 0.0104 inch (10.4 mil), respectively. Epson makes the “ULTRA” version in smaller size photo paper such as 8.5×11.
