The resin-coated base is also easily handled with a basis weight of 252 gsm, or 68 lb, and a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, the smudge- and water-resistant media features a rated opacity of 97% and a brightness of 92%.

I purchased this photo paper for a final project, and the prints turned out really great! The glossy finish is so nice, esp with high contrast photographs. It’s also nice that the epson logo is printed on the back (of most of their paper) so there is no guessing which side you print on.

I am participating in a local exhibition and found that the images would display best on 11×14. Thankfully B&H had this paper which would do the trick. I was able to print on my Canon Pro9000 II. Although the instructions said to let the paper set before framing, I was able to frame after several hours of drying. And so far, the photos look great without smearing on the glass of my frames. It’s a great paper for a great price. And as always, B&H shipped this pack to me in no time at all.

Epson is working hard to produce better papers. This is a good value that bridges the gap between the run of the mill glossy paper and the ultra high end products. Also, when staying with Epson you already have pretty accurate profile.

This is the way to buy paper, that is, in a standard size like 8×10 — no trimming is required. The prints are ready for framing. I use an Epson 3880 for printing and the Epson Glossy Paper generates the highest quality prints with deep black and vibrant colors, almost 3D like when using a good camera and the right sharpening.
