After printing a few pictures with this paper and compared to full glossy. Go with full glossy. I hear some people may think that glossy is not fully professional look. I don’t understand that. It’s all a matter of personal subjective preference. Reason for my decision is color reproduction, which in this case has nothing to do with paper finish. The color reproduction of the glossy paper is more vibrant and more accurate. The semigloss color rendering is a little more dull and honestly a little less accurate than other Epson papers. I had to try different ICC profiles to confirm it wasn’t my mistake. This paper is rated 4 stars by Epson, I have tried many other papers from Epson rated at 4 and 5 stars. This one should be rated 3 stars. However, I have to emphasize again that all these judgements are always considered subjective and are exclusive of my personal preference. Other people may favor this over other paper finish. The best way to find out, buy a small box of either 4×6 or 5×7, try it yourself and make your own decision.

I print a lot of my own photos and this paper gives me a finished look even better than some professional processing. Better than anything I can buy in Australia.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1400, combine that with this paper and each print is like a well orchestrated song! Excellent quality and I’m a huge fan of the Semi-Gloss paper! In my opinion it shows more detail than the gloss.

one of the best 4×6 prints out there without making your own epson profile. Surface is brilliant but doesn’t show finger prints, paper thickness is great. Epson printers might not be the fastest/cheapest way to make snapshot prints, but it is one of the best.

I use this paper when I do not need the sheen of a Luster paper.

This paper is proving to be very capable with my new Epson XP860. I do not like glossy paper and would have preferred a luster finish, but this is a good compromise.

This semi-gloss paper has a nice finely grained surface, unlike other semi-gloss or luster papers I’ve seen out there. I use it with an Epson professional printer and the results are great. However, when I received this paper I noticed that though it was carefully packaged and no damage was done to the outer box, the entire plastic-wrapped ream of paper had one corner slightly bent! Whenever I printed anything, some black ink would always stain that corner because it wasn’t smooth. Thankfully, I never need the borders around my prints, and when I do, the print is small enough that the corners can be cropped.

Just as advertised!

I’d hoped for more of an eggshell finish, but this paper is both textured and more shiny than I wanted. I wish there was a sample online showing photos of all the paper finishes.

This product is pretty straight forward, but using it for 4×5 prints has been really great! Semi-gloss is always a better option over glossy because the look of the paper isn’t too shiny and overpowering – so the essence of the pring is really captured.

This photo paper works great with the Epson artisan printer I have. I use it to print signs that are 4×6, and the quality is excellent. B&H has a great price on the paper and got it to me very quickly. 5 stars!

I use this to print my photographs on after scanning, mostly just contact sheets. The paper is high quality and very useful. The semi-gloss has a nice shine to it, but not too shiny. The image is still very easy to see while being very presentable.

My photos always look great. The paper dries instantly. I tried HP and it was terrible.
