For photographers who want a flat matte surface, Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte is a great choice with its bright whites and ability to preserve shadow detail. The alpha cellulose paper features a heavy basis weight of 192 gsm along with a thickness of 10.3 mil. Also, it has a high rated brightness of 104% that helps highlights look their best.
This paper is available here as a 50-pack of 8.5 x 11″ sheets.

I used this for my photo assignment at university and it printed in really nice quality. However I since this was my first time printing high quality pictures (RAW pictures from a Nikon D40) I didn’t realize how matte matte would be. In a way this paper is similar to really fine grained cardstock, as a result some of my pictures came out looking flat. The colors are also more muted than I thought they would be (due to the flatness). Also, the front of the paper is the side that is a bit more white, the back is a tad bit yellow. For matte paper, this is really good and high quality, dried quickly and doesn’t smear (no fingerprints!). If you’re looking for nice matte paper, this is great. It was also a lot cheaper than the stuff at my local @ and came with free shipping which was really convenient!

I am an artist who uses very specific Epson paper and ink and B&H to make unique watercolor paper artprints of my original mixed-media artwork and B&H not only supplies them … but saves me money and time in doing so. I even bought my first printers from them and the expensive scanner == all at a discount five years ago which enabled me to start making real money with my artwork. We love B&H and always will

I’m in love with this paper. Not only does it take ink from my Epson printer beautifully, but it also takes traditional media (i.e. pen & ink, graphite, etc) like a champ. Works great for my mixed media collages and has opened up a brave new world of possibilities for me as an artist.

This paper is great for fine art prints without the paper being too thick. The matte surface is perfect for great color and contrast.

I can no longer use the photo black ink on my Epson 3880 because there is a problem with that line leaking and laying down little ink blobs on the paper, so I have gotten back into using matte paper and ink. This paper is inexpensive and well made and has become my go to for work prints. I am very satisfied with this product as I have always been with Most Epson papers.

This is a good, inexpensive, matte-surface paper. It’s smooth, with no visible surface texture. I use it for proofs. My custom printer profile for Watercolor Radiant White matte paper works fine with it.

This is the only paper I use to print my photos for fine art sales. I have tried other papers, including thicker ones. But, this is the best and produces the most correct colors for my prints.

I am a landscape photographer and consistently get good results–bright color, fast drying… Luster might be a better paper overall but you can’t beat the price of this paper

I use Epson printing paper for Black & White prints from an Epson 2880 printer. The weight of the paper feels right, tonal range is wide resulting in faithful reproductions of what I am seeing on my computer screen. So far, I have seen no fading or discoloration of final prints. I am very happy with this product.

I bought this to experiment with larger matte prints on new 3880 printer. It’s working for that. It’s high quality. It is not terribly bright, but Epson’s ICC profiles let me soft proof in PhotoShop and adjust image before printing for best effect. I could not find ISO brightness documented on Epson’s website nor in box. This product is fine for prints not requiring bright highlights; vivid colors can be had through soft adjustments to image prior to printing (use soft proofing with paper color ON), but gamut suffers slightly at the bright/vivid end. Feeds perfectly in Epson 3880 auto sheet feeder.

This is a high quality and very reliable matt paper for use in Epson printers. I have used this paper in both the R1800 and R1900 with excellent results.

I use the epson ultra premium presentation paper (double side) as a way of giving me a way of deciding whether to proceed toward a final print. It is less expensive as an initial review as you can print on both sides. My work is B&W so I can not comment on color rendition but I am able to decide as to tonal quality and where to spot the image before expending inks and costs on the more expensive inkjet paper.

I use this paper for all of my printing (except portraits).Gives photos a saturated, velvety look. Great for B&Ws as well.

This is the paper I use for almost all of my presentations. It is a light paper and takes ink very well. In terms of image quality it is practically identical to all the high grade rag papers I have tried. They are, of course, much stiffer and more archival; but for everyday work-portfolio use, give aways, and temporary exhibits-this paper does the job.

Black and white in big pics with no shine. Love it!
