With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

Great photo paper. It has a useful, enduring, utilitarian fell in that in does not show finger prints, takes light scuff marks well and holds up visually under varying light conditions. It does NOT have the splash and dash of glossy paper and not the ultra artistic feel of the specialty paper finishes but is and will be an enduring photo paper for years to come under normal use and exposure. If that is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed.

I use the Epson luster for most general purpose printing. It looks and feels like what the average person thinks of as photo paper, and it’s very resistant to finger prints. I have ordered from various online companies, but B&H is by far the best in packaging photo paper to prevent damage in shipping.

The Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper (of any size) will produce quality prints with vibrant colors and details. The paper is very sturdy in the sense that finger prints and scratches are (though still obtainable like any product) highly unlikely. Due to the quality, the paper produces a sort of sheen in the blackest areas, but without the mirror effect that most printers do not desire. It is difficult finding the right paper when printing underwater photos, but this paper was exactly what I needed for my images.Through working with this paper, I have been able to bring to life my images with a quality that was unexpected, but satisfied my perfectionist personality. I say unexpected due to the different styles of paper that I have tried that promised these results, but unfortunately could not deliver. I was very pleased with the Luster Paper that I purchased through B&H and will use whenever possible for my future endeavors.

Depending on the printer that is used, the paper can perform at different levels. I have used it with both an Epson Stylus R1900 and an Epson 4900 and the images looked good on the R1900 and great on the 4900. It has a nice finish and good weight.
