With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

I have been printing with Epson Premium Paper semi gloss for quite some time. Buying from B&H in packages to make 100 sheets makes the cost per sheet of 13 x 19 size about $. Going with this 100 sheet package of Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster is, in my opinion equal to the semi-gloss, but the per sheet cost goes down to $ Not a bad bargin!

It came alright, but the package was damaged in the mail. There was no support around the paper. I hope that the corners were not bent.

I recently switched from a Canon 9100 to an Epson 1440. Although I used the Canon Premium Gloss paper regularly, I never really liked the finish. The Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper is far beyond the Canon paper in print quality, color rendition, and overall look. It fits perfectly between a true gloss and a matte. I recently used this paper to print images for a gallery show, and also for a museum exhibit, and the paper really does hold up to those uses.
