With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

This is a very good RC paper for color prints. The surface has enough gloss for high contrast and saturation, but not so much as to annoy with excessive reflections. I cut some of the sheets in half, resulting in 9 1/2 x 13 sheets for printing uncropped 8 x 12s For my taste the paper color is too cool for B&W. The 240 gsm weight and 10 mil thickness are fine for smaller prints, but they make for a somewhat limp sheet at 13 by 19 (Super B). You can buy heavier papers but at a higher price. Overall this mid-priced paper is suitable for a wide range of images. Epson’s consistent quality and excellent resealable packaging make this good-value product my workhorse paper.

I’m very pleased with this product. I’ve been scanning old family photographs and wanted a premium Epson product that I could print the scanned photos on and distribute to family. It’s just what I was looking for. The paper works well with my older Espon printer. Each print has turned out beautifully and should last a long time. When my stock runs out I’ll be purchasing more.

When using the Epson printer, if using matte paper, then the printer does not use Photo Black so I decided to buy Luster paper to use my Photo Black ink as well. Did not want to have any clogs from lack of use. Prints came out great with this paper.

I use this paper to print full page 8.5.x11 photos on a professional printer and as long as the settings are right on the printing program letting it know that this paper is loaded, it turns out wonderfully. The Luster paper has a good shine too it but isn’t glossy – it’s a good medium for those who don’t want glossy or matte finishes.

Great Epson commercial grade paper with the Epson inks and printer – color matching is excellent – Consistent from print to print. Great saturation and transition of tones – dead on match from what Photoshop’s readings reflect in the printed results. Have been through at least 250 prints and have yet to see a need to calibrate anything. Clients rave at the deliveries as well.

This is my first time buying quality paper to print on. The Things i liked about this was the sharp, bold colors on this paper. I also liked the aesthetic look to my prints. One thing i didn’t like so much about this paper is that I’m used to matt paper. And if you’re a fan of matt paper, this paper is a lot different and shows a glossy, almost wet look to photographs.
