With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

This is my baseline paper for large prints. Great match to my Epson P700 pigment inks with jet dark blacks and bright colors. May not be the best for B & W but for everything else it does well. It was shipped well protected with corner cardboard sleeves to keep from damaging the easy to bend corners. Will be ordering more.

Luster paper is one of my favorite papers to print on and I can always rely on Epson papers. The color depth is really nice. The blacks are still rich which can be hard to find in some brands and different paper finishes. This paper does show fingerprint smudges, but that can be avoided with care. Overall I would recommend this product over and over!

This paper works well for all types of prints: portraits, still life, and landscapes. A great compromise between glossy papers which usually don’t do well behind glass and matte papers where colors don’t often look as vivid. A minus for me is that this paper doesn’t have the longevity that the Epson matte papers have.

I am using this paper in an Epson XP-15000 printer and I am very pleased with the results. The finish is bright and clear (it is not glossy and does not show reflections as glossy can do) and suitable for many types of photos. Currently I am printing color shots, taken during the day and at night. I will try it with black/white soon and I expect good results there as well. If you insist on a glossy finish, this is not the paper for you, but if you don’t, or if you are not sure, try a pack. You will be very likely to use it for many photos even if you do print in glossy as well.

I first bought this paper when I took a photography class and needed to purchase photo paper. I have an Epson printer at home and the school uses an Epson printer as well I decided to stick with the brand. I love it, the paper holds up well and it really makes colors stand out. The only bad thing is that it is pricey, buyng from B and H is by far the cheapest.

This product has very high quality, and it is very easy to use. It is very easy to control the accuracy of the colors. As an amateur of photography, for me ,I think the only disadvantage of this product is….probable..is the price if it was a disadvantage….

The Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper has worked pretty wonderfully for me so far. It’s not too glossy that it distorts the pictures, but not so matte that it detracts color from the print. It’s great for a beginner like myself who isn’t used to working with digital printing a lot, so this gives me a nice base to start from as far as what kinds of papers I like and don’t like. I haven’t really used it enough to discover the things I don’t like about it yet, and hopefully there really won’t be anything I don’t enjoy about it. All in all a great paper.

I use this paper everyday for my class and it gives great results with printing. A lot of the students use it. The glossy is just too reflective in my opinion and the matte finish only works on certain prints. I would recommend this paper if you like glossy.
