With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

Print paper is not very special, I don’t actually know that this paper is better than others, but it is very good. I am very happy with it, and I was also very happy with B&H.

I recently used this paper to make prints for a gallery show I was having and the quality is great. I used an Epson R1900 to print my photographs and the paper profiles they provide make it easy to get a good print, especially when soft-proofing in photoshop in advance. This product size is 8.5 x 11 was a surpise, not the previous 8×10. The RC finish is reminiscent of the photo papers from long ago. The paper is a 10 mil thickness (heavy weight) with a type E finish. I prefer this over glossy. My customers are very pleased too. The 250 sheet packaging is a good value.

A lot of my printing is done in black and white and the Epson Ultra Luster Photo Paper is my paper of choice. This paper is a perfect match for the pigmented ink my printer uses. I am getting as good or better quality image surfaces that I obtained using luster fiber or RC papers back in my wet darkroom days. It is superb for color images as well, great surface, no fingerprints, and minimal glare. A great fine art paper.
