With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

As an agility club member who photographs people running their dogs in fun runs and professionally staged competitions in Maine and New Hampshire, I make every effort not to disappoint in my photography or my prints. Customers can purchase prints from me online, and I only use Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper as the standard in my Epson SC P800 to ensure the greatest satisfaction. The president of our agility club this year opted to present every member at it’s annual banquet a picture of themselves running with their dog, which required 44 quality prints in frames. We only used Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper and the results were stellar – all of the members were delighted, and the Epson luster paper was a big contributor. For quality in the hand, and excellent depth of color without annoying glare or fingerprints, Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper is the way to go.

I am a Wedding/Portrait Photographer. I love the effect of this Luster paper. I think it adds dimension to a photo in comparison to Premium Glossy Photo Papers. I did not give this paper a 5 Star rating because photos do not last very long in DIRECT sunlight. This is a very common problem that affects other manufacturers as well. Under given conditions, the photos are very durable and lasts for decades.

I am studying photography at Columbia College Chicago. I just started in on my digital class, never having printed digitally before. Now, I love how the prints turned out. I think they are wonderful. Ultimately, though, I have nothing to compare them too. But they didn’t jam, and I loved how everything turned out. The only gripe I have is I wish the printing on the back was a little darker. I keep forgetting to check which side is which *being that I am used to the darkroom and check the paper by touch*, so. But that’s something that’s my own problem, not Epson’s.
