With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

I am a bit new to professional printing and exhibits so I may be impressed easily since so many products are new to me. I love this paper because of the luster finish. When matted and framed it doesn’t reflect back like glossy does and the images are clear and deeply detailed. I don’t think I compromise quality by using this in place of Gloss paper. I also think the price is reachable for exhibitions on a budget. So far I don’t have any comments regarding things not so great about it…maybe in time

This luster paper is high quality and reproduces my photos exactly as I send them to the printer. No glare, no reflections, just photo itself. The soft quality of light given off by the paper makes some of my stuff look like paintings. 250 sheets at at a time is a money saver, too.

Used the paper to print both B&W and color prints on an epson stylus photo 1400. Both are coming out nicely – crisp, clean images with nice tones. Its a great paper for large prints, but there is one concern based on the size. If you want to frame any images where you’ve printed on the entire sheet (borderless) you are almost forced to use custom mat board or to have a custom frame since the sheets do not have a direct match with standard frames. You can print to fit 11×14 frames and mat openings as well, but this defeats the purpose of the larger paper at times.

I have been using this paper for a long time and have always loved it. There are more expensive premium papers out there but for my portfolio I use this. If I was doing a fine art show I would be going with a more expensive paper brand but since the images in my portfolio are replaced every few months this is the perfect fit.

I use the paper for my landscape prints from my Epson Stylus photo R2000 printer.. The 13×19 size allows for a more spectacular display than smaller sheets of your image and the luster paper gives you good resolution without the glare of glossy and the flatness of matt paper. The dimension are more appropriate the modern dslr.

We were required to buy this for my photo course. It’s nice to have and the photos look beautiful when printed on this photo paper. My only issue is that it’s so big that it’s hard to find a place to properly store the images. Getting images out of the packet can be troublesome too. Otherwise it’s a nice purchase.

This is the paper I use the most for regular prints. It displays nice details and contrast. The glossy paper is too glossy for my taste, but this strikes a nice balance. I use it with the Epson 3880 and the prints come out great!

Epson products eliminate all of this and look just like they came from a professional printing lab. The paper has the professional feel, delivers bright, clean colors, does not jam and does not fade. The best thing is I can do my own editing, photoshopping, cropping at home and produce a top line product for my client that delivers more. I’ve found the price at B&H Video is much cheaper than any where else …. I will buy my paper from them from now on.
