With a popular E-type luster surface, Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster will provide digital printmakers with images that mimic the look of traditional silver halide prints. This polyethylene-coated RC base will also deliver outstanding color saturation for vivid prints and it features a basis weight of 240 gsm as well as a thickness of 10 mil. The paper will dry instantly for immediate handling and it offers an opacity of 97% and a brightness of 97%. Additionally, it features a gloss level of 16% at 60°.

I don’t really know what 5 star paper looks like so i gave it 4 because its just paper. The paper is nice and not flimsy, giving the print a nice finish. The print I made on it so far came out wonky but I think that’s just because my printer was low on ink so the colors were messed up.

This paper is very versatile. What I really like about it is the fact that it is luster. Glossy is too shiny, and matte seems like it’s missing something, but Luster gives your photos a nice texture. Fingerprints are also less noticable. Whatever size paper you’re using, Epson Luster is just awesome. I use this paper with an epson printer and the quality is superb. The colors are vibrant and true. I use it for everything, from personal photos to professional photos. They say the paper is instant drying, which I guess is true to a certain extent. Nothing smears or smudges coming right from the printer, but when I took photo classes, my photo teachers would always tell us to lay the photos out flat to dry for a day, so the ink sets making the photo last longer. But as I said, the best thing about this luster paper is the subtle texture.
