The 24″ x 100′ roll of Enhanced Matte Inkjet Paper from Epson is a 192 g/m2 bright white paper with a matte finish. The paper yields highly saturated images, while maintaining highlight and shadow detail. Enhanced Matte is designed for use with UltraChrome, Epson Archival, DURABrite, as well as dye-based ink.

I am currently printing for a photography class, I print all of my own photographs and this is my favorite paper right now to print on. It is also an excellent quality paper for the cost! Enhanced matte has striking quality of color and sharpness and is comparable to Premium Luster. It works great in rendering the darks and lights without losing deatil within the image. Because it is matte, watching the darks from losing detail can be a little difficult, but I find enhanced matte is the easiest to work with in comparrison to thicker papers, such as Hot Press or Cold Press.

I just used this paper for the first time today and loved it! It’s a great matte paper that is enhanced to give it a little more contrast than regular matte but does not make it overly shiny.

This paper really surprise me. I am a professional artistic photographer, and the quality of my printings are really amazing. Be aware that it is a matte surface. The price of the product is also a really good deal if you are looking for quality without paying so much.

Since my supplier discontinued the decor art photo paper I was using, I turned to Epson to see if one of their papers would do the job. For the record, I’m printing using an Epson 7800 w/ Matte K ink. I found this paper to be quite nice and capable of high-resolution printing and holding decent detail. While this paper should never be mistaken for a fine art matte paper (it contains loads of OBAs or optical brightening agents), it’s a very nice paper for the decor art print category. If there’s a complaint, the driver settings for this media allows slight over-inking in maximum black areas causing a slight bit of wrinkling or puckering on the backside of the media….but unless you’re printing large areas of maximum ink, you likely won’t notice. In fact, some of the puckering went away after the print dried. Overall, I’m happy with this media and will continue to use it for decor art prints.

I use this paper as an inexpensive matte photo paper and also for signage, banners, and posters in an educational environment. This paper has nice colors for matte paper and relatively good smoothness.What follows is a comparison to the slightly cheaper Epson DoubleWeight MatteThe texture of the DoubleWeight Matte is perfectly smooth, whereas this paper has a light paper texture.The colors of this paper are much better. The colors in the dark remain more saturated and the gamut in green and red is larger.It takes about 30% more ink.It is a lot more scratch-resistance than the DoubleWeight Matte. While you CAN damage it with your fingernail, it will only leave a polished mark where the DoubleWeight Matte would scrape clean off.I’m using this on an HP Z3200

Compared to the ink this roll of paper is a bargain for your epson large format printer. (17in). I want to give it 4 start because I think glossy and coated papers are just a bit better than matte papers. There’s just less pop in these paper than the glossy ones. But as far as mattes go, it’s very good.

This paper is excellent as an inexpensive, daily use paper. It is light and quite color accurate. The price is terrific. I use this paper for my personal work and I print 3 times per week for a roll a month usage. It is color accurate with my fine art paper (cold press natural) which has slightly richer colors & contrast and is a heavier paper. Brian
