I bought this paper for my Studio Photography class in college. It’s a great printing paper for black and white pictures and not-so-vivid color pictures. You need to have in mind when buying Matte Paper that your pictures will need some correction because of the brightness, or lack of brightness should I say, of the paper. It isn’t that difficult and the results are excellent. Great blacks and dark tones, perfect whites, accurate contrast. When using it with colors you should add some more saturation, but overall the results is really good as well. Epson Matte Paper is also better for exhibitions, it has no reflections whatsoever. Totally recommended.

This is a good, inexpensive, matte-surface paper. It’s smooth, with no visible surface texture. I use it for proofs. My custom printer profile for Watercolor Radiant White matte paper works fine with it.

I use this paper with an aging Epson 2200 printer. I feel like this paper does a great job of providing good brightness for the whites, while taking the ink well enough to give great richness in the dark areas. The texture is very plain — which is fine with me, because I’m more interested in the textures within the image, not in the paper. I’ve had a custom profile made for my printer with this paper, and this paper/printer/profile combination consistently corresponds to what I see on-screen in Photoshop. This predictability is important to me.

I use the Ultra Premium to print my Landscape and Nature photography. I love the detail you’re able to show with it and the longevity of prints. Plenty of room for multiple images too. I have been using this paper for years now and just got their printer that can handle the larger size. So far I can’t find any inssues with it.
