I’ve used this paper for years–it provides a very nice range of tones, and the prints are fine for matting and framing.

I had a problem with my first batch. Bent corners. This was from the factory that way. The outer box had no bends. However, B&H handled it quickly and professionally. Sent me out a fresh box of paper and all is good.

Most of my images are printed on this paper. It’s bright and has a nice smooth matte finish that really allows the colors to show. I like it better than glossy for most prints. Price is another good thing: it’s inexpensive, which is makes it great for proofing. It’s a nice weight too.

I can no longer use the photo black ink on my Epson 3880 because there is a problem with that line leaking and laying down little ink blobs on the paper, so I have gotten back into using matte paper and ink. This paper is inexpensive and well made and has become my go to for work prints. I am very satisfied with this product as I have always been with Most Epson papers.

I recently ordered a 100 sheet package of “Epson Ultra Premium Paper Matte”. The shipment arrived on time and I have already printed some images on my Epson SureColor P800 printer.

I use this paper for printing from 4×5 colour negatives. When used with an Epson printer and inks, you can achieve a wide range of tones. This paper creates a kind of intangible softness in images without compromising clarity. Just be careful because the paper can crease easily if not handled with care.

Its very economical and performs well in my Epson printer, but its in the same league as Epson Ultra-Premium Luster, which is to say, I find it useful for proofing images that will later be printed on a higher-quality paper (i.e., one of their hot Press sheets, or even Velvet Fine Art). Unfortunately, I find its not really good enough for a fine art print. It lacks really knock-out blacks IMO, and the surface seems to bleed a bit which I think makes prints subtly less sharp.

I’m a small business professional who uses this paper as the main substrate for my printed products. I wouldn’t use any other paper when producing high-quality, archival standard giclee prints.

I use it exclusively for all my high-quality photo prints.

I use it primarily for printing very old family photos..50-100 years old. It has no texture and I think I expected a little…but it’s good quality paper and serves its purpose well.
