I have been using this paper for over 5 years with excellent results! After trying various papers during this time, I continue to place this paper above all others for my fine-art printing. It is simply, spectacular!

I’ve used this paper for my portfolio for years. Beautiful texture, rich blacks. Although the color gamut could be a little wider.

When taking paper out of package, the directions do not indicate that the paper is facing up. States use smooth surface. Difficult to tell which is smooth side.

Im using it with my Canon Pro 9000 Mark II to reproduce images of my original paintings. The weight and texture of the paper exude quality. The images on this paper are stunning. I feel like I should future proof my excitement by purchasing truckloads of this paper.

I print on an Epson 2200. The Velvet gives me black and white prints with a large tonality range, and color prints have a ‘painterly’ feel. The paper surface is fragile, and must be handled with care.

I had an image of a cat sleeping amoungst autumn leaves, which looked great on premium luster, but it took on a painting quality on this Velvet fine art paper.

I’ve been using this paper for a long time and I am always happy with the results. I frequently get comments on my framed prints that they look like paintings. I’m using a Epson 3880 printer. A great paper.

This feels like a heavy piece of quality paper. It’s matte and hard to tell which side to print on. I recommend checking the soft-proof very carefully. For me the saturation of color on this paper makes the photo look pastel, which may be the point. If anyone knows how to get rich vivid prints with this paper please let me know.

I tried this paper for black and white portraits, color flower based still life and some scenic images printed on my R2880. It has a decent tonal range, blacks and good color. I’ll use it again for some images. It has a good feel; better than RC papers. There is only one minor issue using the paper. Epson says the whiter side of the paper is for printing. To my eyes, both sides look about the same.

This is the paper I use for final prints. I has a beautiful rich rendition of colors and black. When people see and feel the paper on which their prints are produced, they think it is wonderful.

I think I’m addicted to this paper. Love the texture and feel of this paper. Images can be soft and sharp at the same time.

I love the feel and weight of the paper and the depth of color it prints. I use this paper more than any other. Expensive but worth it.

The brightened neutral-white and mildly-textured matte surface makes this paper well-suited to portraits, atmospheric landscapes and images displayed in difficult lighting. But be patient, i.e., give your test/proof prints at least and hour or more to dry/cure before you judge color and densities. Prints made by the book (color managed, correct profiles, etc.) may look a touch muddy and colors may appear distorted when the print is fresh, but the prints will improve as they dry.

Very nice quality paper. i use it with my epson inkjet printer (a decent quality printer, not one of their super cheap models) to print out high quality color artwork for birthday cards and framable prints. the paper is heavyweight and slightly textured. the texture does mute colors slightly (as compared to smooth or glossy stock) but it still shows color well.
