Everything I thought it would be. Beautiful texture, feels great in the hand, excellent color and deep blacks. Has worked well in my Epson 2400 right from the start. Great paper for the price.

I absolutely love Epson’s Velvet Fine Art Paper for the work I do. Because the paper absorbs ink, images made on Velvet have a perceptible depth to them, much like my platinum prints from film. Also, this paper yields beautiful, velvety (appropriately enough) blacks and vivid colors. I use it for landscape photography, as well as portraiture and still lifes, and it makes a beautiful base for black and white prints, giving them a completely different feel from those make on glossy paper. The paper has a subtle texture that’s not at all obtrusive and actually accentuates most prints. The only downside to this paper is that there’s not an obvious face or back side, but it must be printed on the face side. I keep track by only removing one sheet at a time from the inner package and keeping it with the seal side up, which means the face side is always up, too.

I use both the Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper and Watercolor Paper. Although the Velvet Fine Art Paper is heavier (and I can order it in the smaller size), I prefer the Watercolor Paper because it is more economical and the image quality is just as good.

I have searched for a product as good as this one (for less money, of course), and have not been able to find it. My fine art prints look identical to ones done professionally. This is the best product I have found.

This paper is excellent for printing artwork. I use it with my XP Expression 15000. B & H delivered in timely way and packaged well. They offered best price compared to other stores. I have shopped with them over 20 years.

would not print in my printer

I do love this paper, in an good epson printer the blacks on this are quite appealing. They do not have the depth of photo surfaced papers but that in not the point, sometime you need a textured surface and a aesthetic that bends away from the standard photographic solution. ~TEU

This paper made my photos look professional!

This paper has the highest Dmax I have so far used with the Epson P800 printer. It is not terribly convenient to have to load each sheet from the front loading tray in order to obtain the maximum benefit. Having a custom icc profile made will help that problem using the top loader.

I was pleasantly surprised at the difference in prints on this VFAP in comparison to Premium Luster. Scales on a butterfly’s wings had more sparkle. It is an excellent choice for a matte print paper.

I use this paper to create art prints with the Epson R2880. Provides great image quality and I love the matte texture.

I bought this being really excited to print on it. When I opened the package I was completely disappointed. Its nothing more then thick matte stock. It tells you to print on the white side of the paper. Both sides are equally white so that was no help. The print comes out looking like garbage regardless.

I love the paper which is archival and also prints the colors true to image. also love the prompt service so i send for epson products from B and H instead of Epson directly.
