I used this to print a giclee of my artwork. It gave it a very nice feel, with a bit of texture. It provided good contrast and color. I will use it again.

I love the feel of this paper. It is similar to my rough watercolor paper and gives the same feeling. The colors are amazing on the paper too.

this is the only Matte paper i will use. nothing else comes close nuff said. it is a thick paper that needs care when feeding it into your printer, but that is a small price to pay for the results you get from the paper

Epson Velvet Fine Art is an excellent paper for a cotton rag finish that has a very good weight (about 20 mils). The surface has a slight texture and images really pop where a matte finish would work better than a luster or gloss surface. Even though it has Optical Brightening Agents (OBA), I have never had a problem with any of the Epson papers that contain OBAs and I have been using Epson papers for almost 20 years.

This product is used to print photographs in color and black & white. I print black & white photos on this paper and hand-color the photos in pastel. The paper is durable and receives the inks and pastels very well. I have no negative comments about this paper.

Wonderful Fine Art Matte paper provides deep and rich tones for color and clear black and white. This papers is not an all purpose paper like glossy. It can give a very nice older look to photographs. There are some pictures better on glossy and some better on Matte.

Everything I thought it would be. Beautiful texture, feels great in the hand, excellent color and deep blacks. Has worked well in my Epson 2400 right from the start. Great paper for the price.

Nice paper and a good price from B&H but it really is hard to tell which is the print side. The packing does not explicit identify other than saying its the whiter side, be nice if the package said this side up. Generally I’ve found the side facing the package flap is the print side, but I would not rely on that. Best way is slightly dampen a finger tip and feel a corner, the tackier side is the print side. For this reason I generally prefer MOAB Entrada which is 2 sided but I do think Epson Velvet Fine Art has slightly more range. But that may be just me.

B&H treats every shipment of Epson paper like they are shipping a fragile vase. I never receive bent or punctured boxes of material because they are so fastidious about their packing. The paper itself is my #1 choice for printing on the Epson 3800/3880 series printers.

Nice inkjet paper for Fine Art Photography. Bright white heavy weight paper with a slight texture.

The paper is too soft, it showed scratches from my printhead.

This paper is rich in color. I think it is much nicer than the premium luster. It has a feel to it that adds dimension to my prints. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious matte finish to make their art or photography pop off the page.

Switched from Hahnemuhle Photo Rag to save money. Much lower weight, but I can’t tell the difference in image quality.

I got this paper to print illustrations and graphics created with Adobe Illustrator. The printer I used is a Canon Pro9500. Everything printed sharp with deep blacks and rich saturated colors. The thickness of the paper and its fine texture give the resulting prints a feeling of quality that you can’t get with glossy or semigloss. I definitely would buy it again. The only slightly negative thing is the price…this paper is not cheap, but it’s worth it.

I bought this paper for a digital printmaking class, and it works very well for my projects. The color saturation is almost unreal and the amount of detail I get out of my prints is phenomenal. One complaint I have is the price, yet I’d still say it’s worth the money. I just wish it didn’t cost so much.

This paper is incredible. I have an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 and use this paper for graphic art pieces and the detail and vibrance is something even my offset printer can’t compete with. Beautiful paper and you won’t find a better price out there than B&H.

Actually haven’t had time to use this paper, but wanted to point out an extra effort from B&H. I ordered this paper along with a lens and filter. B&H packed the paper box separately. No bent corners!!! Thank you B&H!!!
