The resin-coated base is also easily handled with a basis weight of 252 gsm, or 68 lb, and a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, the smudge- and water-resistant media features a rated opacity of 97% and a brightness of 92%.

I’ve recently started using this paper to print out graphic patterns and designs, as well as product photography, and have been pleased with the results. Shows rich colors and dries super quickly. I haven’t noticed any finger prints or smudges either, even after touching the glossy surface. Looking forward to trying to print some of my photographs on it. (I’ve been using this paper with an Epson Stylus Pro 4880)

Years ago I paid a few dollars more for a lower grade of Epson 13×19 paper so I was quite pleased with the substance of this heavier paper. And, of course, the images looked great. I wish it were as easy finding mats and frames for this aspect ratio.

I use this 4×6 mainly for family snaps to go in the album and for proofing images that I intend to print larger. It’s a good quality glossy paper that’s not too expensive. I don’t actually print borderless because that can mess up the inside of the printer (Epson R1800).

I really like Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper, but I do wish they also made the 11×17 in the Ultra Premium Glossy Photo Paper. This is my first experience with this paper as I have recently upgraded from the older Epson Photo Stylus R800 (which did not accept this large paper) to the R1900 (which makes pre-cut paper photos up to 13×19 size). I like this format size as you can pretty much print the entire original frame (without cropping) from a DSLR camera.
