The resin-coated base is also easily handled with a basis weight of 252 gsm, or 68 lb, and a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, the smudge- and water-resistant media features a rated opacity of 97% and a brightness of 92%.

I had gotten this because it was a pretty good price so I thought i would print some small 4x6s. But I actually like the paper and am considering it for larger prints instead of the premium luster I’ve always used. I usually don’t like gloss but this is actually very nice.

The feel of the paper is also outstanding. As with other glossy media, one has to be careful about not getting fingerprints on the photographs.

I make 8.5 x 11 prints to go in albums for each foreign trip we take. Since I put the prints under plastic sleeves in Pioneer photo albums, the glossy paper works great, as texture doesn’t really matter, and the Epson Premium Glossy paper gives me good strong color under the plastic sleeves. I’ve been using the Epson Premium Glossy for years, and haven’t seen any color changes. I highly recommend it for this purpose.

The Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy is perfect for the rack that I am printing up for my upcoming show in May 2012. Using it on my Epson 3880 and the color and fine quality is super. The size is great for digital frame size. I shoot wildlife, landscapes and interesting buildings and some HDR. I’m running 11.75 X 7.75 frame on the 11 X 14 paper and its’ very good, without much waste. I ordered my second pack two days ago and i know I need more. I highly recommend.

I’m printing 5×7 inch wildlife photo in groups of three by species that will be double (color matched) matted for sale in sets of three at judged arts and crafts fairs. I also use lots of 8×10, 11×14, 11×17, and 13×19 EPSOM premium glossy. The only error so far is my putting the paper in backwards one time. Other than this mess, the prints are sharp and lively every time. I wish I’d gotten the box of 250 as my five boxes of 20 are almost gone (3 days of resizing and printing).
