The resin-coated base is also easily handled with a basis weight of 252 gsm, or 68 lb, and a thickness of 10.4 mil. Also, the smudge- and water-resistant media features a rated opacity of 97% and a brightness of 92%.

I use this 4×6 glossy paper for snapshots/family photos going into photo albums or handed out the family. Color reproduction is good, the paper is light-weight but acceptable and I get good prints off my Epson SureColor p600 with Epson ink. Have used it for years.

I use this particular size paper for contact sheets. I tried using Inkpress glossy which is much cheaper but it just doesn’t have the same glow and brightness. It’s rather flat. To get anywhere near the same brightness, you have to really increase the overall vibrance of the page. The Epson gives the client a much closer approximation of the final image.

I’ve been using this paper for many years on my Epson Photo Printer. It has never failed me. My prints stand out with vibrant colors. Inks dry on this paper immediately though I still de-gas them for two days before storage or distribution. Epson photo papers are simply the best and worth the price!
