For photographers who want a flat matte surface, Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte is a great choice with its bright whites and ability to preserve shadow detail. The alpha cellulose paper features a heavy basis weight of 192 gsm along with a thickness of 10.3 mil. Also, it has a high rated brightness of 104% that helps highlights look their best.
This paper is available here as a 50-pack of 17 x 22″ sheets.

Good paper, cheap.

Excellent paper. I hang prints unframed and I am consistently amazed by its durability. It’s very economical for fine art rated paper and produces incredibly crisp, soft images. Highly recommend.

I use it exclusively for all my high-quality photo prints.

I currently am using this paper to produce a bunch of desktop calendars. The paper reproduces my photos incredibly well for such a low price. I needed something that wasn’t too thick, yet not too thin for handling.

I bought this to experiment with larger matte prints on new 3880 printer. It’s working for that. It’s high quality. It is not terribly bright, but Epson’s ICC profiles let me soft proof in PhotoShop and adjust image before printing for best effect. I could not find ISO brightness documented on Epson’s website nor in box. This product is fine for prints not requiring bright highlights; vivid colors can be had through soft adjustments to image prior to printing (use soft proofing with paper color ON), but gamut suffers slightly at the bright/vivid end. Feeds perfectly in Epson 3880 auto sheet feeder.

This paper is great for printing color photographs with. I haven’t tried it for graphic work yet but I imagine it would work good for that also. The Matte finish renders midtones very beautifully in a way that glossy or luster doesn’t. Also, the contrast of matte paper is slightly lower and doesn’t show details as sharply. the paper has a great thickness to it and doesn’t seem to pick up fingerprints. If matte paper is what you are looking for then this stuff is great

I’ve used this paper for a couple of decades and have always fount it to be excellent. At times I have favored Ultra Premium Luster or Exhibition Fiber, but over the past year have turned back to this as my paper of choice. For some kinds of black and white and artistically edited color, its flat dense feeling and muted background is great.

I use this for perfect inexpensive proofs for Epson HotPress Bright.

Color prints look very good on this paper from my Epson 3880. Paper is thinner lighter wt) than the Hot Press products, but looks almost the same. If money was of no concern, I would still go with the Hot Press paper for better archival quality. However, the hot press is much more expensive than this paper (no called ultra premium presentation matte).

I use this paper for fine art photographic prints. My prints look great on this paper, very saturated colors. B&W prints look great too. It’s a very smooth paper so fine details won’t get lost in the texture of the paper. I use the Epson Ultrasmooth for my large expensive prints, it does have a slight edge over the Enhanced Matte paper, both in print quality and permanence.

I’m in love with this paper. Not only does it take ink from my Epson printer beautifully, but it also takes traditional media (i.e. pen & ink, graphite, etc) like a champ. Works great for my mixed media collages and has opened up a brave new world of possibilities for me as an artist.

Paper: I’ve had Epson printers for almost 2 decades now and I will always buy branded paper for the quality. This is my favorite paper to use for archival art prints. The velvety matte finish is lovely , and my prints come out crisp and vibrant. Shipping: I’m a little weary about ordering fine art papers online as I’ve had quite bad luck with the corners always being damaged. I tend to buy 13×19 and trim my own smaller prints to remedy that, but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to with this particular shipment. The shipping box was a little beat up (not surprised), but the paper package itself was protected with corner bumpers as well as cushion inside the shipment box. It’s my first time ordering paper from B&H though I have visited their flagship NY store before. This will definitely be my first stop for restocking supplies.

This is the paper I use for almost all of my presentations. It is a light paper and takes ink very well. In terms of image quality it is practically identical to all the high grade rag papers I have tried. They are, of course, much stiffer and more archival; but for everyday work-portfolio use, give aways, and temporary exhibits-this paper does the job.
